The two bottom front teeth are there (the long ones). The two smaller top ones I couldn't see. Didn't get chance to see back ones.

I agree with Ria P. Poor Newt should have had a piece of chicken. It's his reward for allowing himself to be caught. Our little Cotton has dodgy teeth too. His favourite food is Ella's kitchen cheesy pie.

Thank you Ruth I shall check that out. Yes maybe that was a bit mean! Unfortunately I can't give Newt fresh chicken because he pouches it (unlike Charlie who would eat it straight away) and then I have to try and find the off chicken in his house! But he did get lots of tasty treats and some baby food Anyway he'd had plenty of fun by then!

Newt has been making me feel guilty. Since having his teeth checked (which he didn't like) and being put back in the playpen he has been staying in his house more and when he is out he has been giving me the cold shoulder or sad reproachful looks.

So he is back to free roaming and happy again. This time I bunged the door up with a blanket and a cushion. He still nipped through to the kitchen in seconds when I went in the kitchen (he was on the far side of the living room) to get him some pumpkin seeds - he is so fast once the door is open. But we went back in the living room and I bunged the door up. It's a sliding door so difficult to secure.

So here is Newt trying to tackle the obstacles (which were too secure for him this time) and get out of the room! I was there the whole time but if I'd looked away for a while he'd probably have got over the top eventually - he knows I'm watching him and walks away sheepishly then as soon as I look away he's back having a go again!

Excuse the unrenovated house - probably the worst corner! I have no idea how to remove the audio on youtube any more since the editor changed.

Those videos cheered me up this evening. Bless him...where does Newt get the energy from at his age?! He was certainly persistent and would get through your defences if there was a chink in them! Glad he is happy again though.

Thank you Coco, Luna and Ria. Yes that is how he escaped the other day - eventually got over the barrier. That wouldn't have mattered so much if I hadn't left the kitchen door open as well as then he could get into downstairs bathroom, bedroom and another room full of junk and clutter! House isn't as big as it sounds - there are more rooms downstairs than up! Have to watch him like a hawk! Yes he is very energetic isn't he?! He has always been a very active hamster.

I don't know how you access the channel! I think by watching the video and then clicking on the channel name. I haven't done much on it for a while. Started it with stepson originally.

you can find the channel by pressing play on any of the videos, then you will see the youtube logo come up at the bottom somewhere, click on that and it should take you to Serendipity's channel.
