I think Boris has found an extra two hamsters in "his" room a step too far, especially when one has to be next to him He's a bit happier now that his living are has been switched to the other side of his cage which is closer to Pasha. He never liked having Artie near him either so I moved him to the other side of the room. I assumed it was just an "I don't like that guy" think but obviously he is just anti-neighbours unless it is Pasha
At least Newtie looked like he could love little Nugget

Re: Newt's thread
Newt was out on the sofa last night and enjoyed a stroke. He also ran up my arm to my shoulder and sat under my hair I think he was looking for somewhere snug and cosy. He had an extra special treat last night, as it's nearly Christmas - one of the Vitakraft chew sticks. He normally has the Rosewood ones. Here he is attacking it in the playpen.

Re: Newt's thread
Newtie is such a lovely boy. Look at that face! Glad he likes the Vitacraft chewsticks. I like using some of them too. Must be nice to have him him run up to your shoulder to sit. Very rewarding after all the time that you put into caring for him and playing. I have only seen a flash of disappearing hamster butt tonight!

Re: Newt's thread
I'm not sure it was affection Coco more that I was a convenient ramp to a hidey place ha ha. Although he was accepting being stroked. Jeeves will be a bit skittish for a couple of weeks probably but I'm sure he'll settle in and come out more.

Re: Newt's thread
Thank you Astrid. He likes being on our sofa, maybe because it is so full of clutter and cushions and blankets there's hardly anywhere to sit ha ha.
