Re: Newt's thread
Newt isn’t going to be forgotten now he has a little brother. He may look extra big due to the small size of nugget.
Is the playpen going to be shared?

Re: Newt's thread
He is definitely bigger I was wondering about the playpen. I suppose they would smell each other - Newt is very particular about smelling the toys in there just to check they still smell the same lol. I shall have to see what other people do. I could swap toys around maybe.

Re: Newt's thread
Swapping toys may be a good idea. Smaller for Nugget and bigger for Newt.

Re: Newt's thread
Aww there's plenty of love for both. Newt's now the biggest and oldest ham in your hamily lol! Great weight of 192g.
I would change the toys, let them have their own toys for playtime.

Re: Newt's thread
I would use different toys for each of them in the playpen, I think it could be a bit disturbing for them if they can smell another ham on their toys!

Re: Newt's thread
Thank you TL, Cypher, and CMB. So swapping toys it is. What about general smells like the floor and sides of the playpen?

Re: Newt's thread
I will check what the position was when my daughter had Jarvis and Loki but I don't think using the same playpen and it being in the same position was a problem.

Re: Newt's thread
I've never shared playpens or anything between hams so not sure about that but I wonder if the playpen might be a bit overwhelming for Nugget, at least to begin with & he might do better in a large play bin?

Re: Newt's thread
Good point Cypher, I was wondering that too. Newt nipped me last night! Not a hard nip. While he was out in the playpen. I suspect I may have forgotten to wash my hands after putting Nugget's food out.
