Cutie Newtie looks to be enjoying the playpen. Lovely photos.

Re: Newt's thread
I weighed Newtie tonight and he's 132g. Exactly two weeks after Souffle last weighed him when he was 106g. He has grown fast this last week and probably still has a bit more growing left to do

Re: Newt's thread
Oh my gosh he's the same size as Mushu was last Saturday already and only about half his age! He's growing so well

Re: Newt's thread
I think it might be to do with whether they are going to be a large, medium or small hamster when they've finished growing Their final size is probably genetic

Re: Newt's thread
I can't remember how big his parents are - I will have to ask Souffle, but it's probably similar to humans - tall parents tend to have tall children lol. Nothing wrong with being smaller though

Re: Newt's thread
He's growing up so fast! He's clearly enjoying his food and the special treats you give him Serendipity
All hamsters are small compared to us anyway and as they say good things come in small packages

Re: Newt's thread
Newtie is growing well and at 8 weeks is a good weight. Wonder if you will have another good sized boy on your hands when he is fully mature.

Re: Newt's thread
It's difficult to know Coco. He might just level out now or he might have another growth spurt. It'll be fun finding out
