Re: Mushu the Fluffy
AprilPearl, thanks for sharing the amazing art work that Drago had so thoughtfully created for you as a perfect tribute for such a beloved ham. I know what it's like to never have another picture of one that you love so dearly so it was truly the most loving and generous gift for Drago to give. It captures the true spirit of sweet Mushu so perfectly, and Drago's heartfelt tribute made me cry. I know that you will treasure it forever, AprilPearl. I know that it must mean the world to you.
Drago, you are AMAZING and truly, TRULY special! Many huge hugs to you for bringing such happiness to AprilPearl in her time of deep sorrow. You gave her a new and gorgeous picture of her beloved, departed Mushu to cherish forever.

Re: Mushu the Fluffy
I'm so sad to hear that Mushu passed away.... I know what it's like to lose a pet and I hope that Mushu will visit you in your dreams to reassure you that it wasn't your fault and that he's okay somewhere over the rainbow. Don't blame yourself, please. At least the last time you saw him he was fine and happy. Maybe he didn't want you to see his last moments. I know cats tend to leave when they feel it's time. Most of my childhood cats did that, and so I never had to see them die and all my memories are about them alive and purring.
Mushu was probably my favorite ham on this forum, I always checked his thread first, so I will really miss him, but I believe that our pets remain with us as our guardian angels, so I hope that he'll be taking care of you from now on just as you took care of him.

Re: Mushu the Fluffy
Omg April Pearl! I have just been catching up on this thread! I am sooo sorry for your loss! I can't believe Mushu is gone! He was only a baby. You shouldn't blame yourself. It's not your fault. You had good intentions. It could e been down to inbreeding or an underlying illness. The tribute is gorgeous. You should just remember him as your little flufffball that carried around happiness. Don't think of his last moments. Again, I'm so sorry for you April...

Re: Mushu the Fluffy
Thank you Humphrey_Hamster, your words mean a lot.
And Burakki, sorry I didn't see your comment earlier. Just wanted to tell you now that I really like your vision of passed pets being our guardian angels. I shall try to think of Mushu that way

Re: Mushu the Fluffy
Hi AprilPearl. Just been reading this thread and wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. Mushu was utterly gorgeous and was clearly loved so much and cared for to the highest degree by his amazing owner. So so sad that it was his time to go to the bridge and I can't imagine how much you are missing him. Take care of yourself and once again I'm so sorry. Sleep well in peace lovely Mushu.

Re: Mushu the Fluffy
Turrican thank you. You're right, he was a very special little one. I'm glad that you were able to "meet" him through this thread.
