Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
I did it! I convinced servant to come around. I knew I could do it. She didnt last very long last night and couldnt stay away from my adorable self. She would tell you it was because she felt mean putting me in my ball instead of playing on the sofa. Im pretty sure my following her around and repeatedly bumping into her feet was part of it. At first she was given me the silent treatment and wouldnt let me on her shoulders for whisker kisses. But then she picked me up and turned me to face her and asked if I had anything to say for myself. I stood still, put a little paw on her fingertip and gave her "the face". She melted like an icecube on a hot day. I win! She says she is still disappointed my jaws of doom got the better of me again and has made me promise not to make that hole any bigger "or else". I dont want to find out what that means, I like it here. I shall try to fight the jaws of doom from now on.
I am having pasta and peas for tea tonight. I havent had peas before but i love pasta. She also gave me a bit of cottage cheese on my nibble spoon the other day. It was yucky, smelt just like thay yogurt crap she tried to give me the other day. She also says I can try sweet potato too this week. She says one of her old fish pets used to adore sweet potato too (she used to have a plec)

So relieved to hear that you and your servant are back to being best buddies again! I’d be careful with those teeth for a bit though
Enjoy your pasta and peas! I had pasta tonight but forgot to save a piece for Mushu (shhh don’t tell him!). I did offer him some babycorn for the first time to make up for it, but he didn’t like it.

Khali, I and Eros are so very pleased that you two are buddy buddies again. That surely is a relief! It is wonderful that you can tickle your servant with your famous whisker kisses again, and all is forgiven. I definitely would be sure to keep those naughty jaws of destruction in check, though. They must be tamed so you won't be tempted to overuse them again, O.K.? I knew it wouldn't be long before you were forgiven, but please don't push the envelope before all is truly forgotten, too.

Yeah Khaleesi, I knew you'd win your servant round, how can she possibly resist your cuteness and persistence? I hope you enjoy your pasta and new veg peas. Harvey loves peas.

Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
Hello non fuzzies! It is I, your rodent Queen.
I've been spending time with servant this week trying to make up for last week, when I lost the battle against my jaws of doom. But the good news is I havent done it again since and we made up.
This week I got to try some yummy new foods, like sweet potato, baby spinach and peas. Here is a pic if me sampling the baby spinach and sweet potato
Servant has caught two rather unflattering pictures of me today, looking rather unkempt. This is what I look like after rolling around in my nest all day.
She woke me up by accident this morning, this is me coming out to explore what the racket was about. Im still a bit dopey faced and havent put my ears on properly yet.
And this is after I woke up this evening, having a wash.
I was mortified, so I got my own back on her. She has decided to read a book filled with journal articles on conservation and zoo ethics over the summer, when she should be playing with me and making me things. I showed her what I think to that
After chewing the book a little bit, I decided to unpouch my pasta and have a snack. Terrorising servant is hungry work.
Enjoy the vid. TTFN

How embarrassing being photographed with a 'bed coat'! I think it suits you though, so don't worry hope you enjoyed that sweet potato and spinach. I love how daintily you ate your pasta!

Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
Good Evening non fuzzies!
Servant wanted to share these adorable photos of me eating my meal tonight. Could I BE any cuter? (she has asked me to stop being so adorable, says I hurt her heart)
I was watching TV whilst eating and it was getting interesting ( we were watching X Files)
And here I am enjoying some Kale
Servant would also like me to ask if everyones hamsters gets their food cut up into little paw friendly sized pieces, or am I just spoilt? (Servant - she doesnt eat it if its not chopped up. Diva)
Well, I must be off. I have a whole evening of being fabulous ahead of me.

All those veggies look very good! Glad you enjoyed watching TV with servant. All my hams get their veggies cut up into easy to eat pieces. Sometimes I'll give Duncan a large chunk of carrot or a whole leaf of baby spinach, but I typically tear it up for portion control measures

Queen Khaleesi sounds rather great!
That's who'll you'll be known as to me from now on.
I laughed so much at those very adorable, expressive and innocent pics.
Good to hear you're getting plenty of veggies.
