Re: Duncan's thread
Maybe someone more knowledgable than I could weigh in on what colour they think Duncan is! Souffle was kindly able to pick out Mushu's for me. Whatever it is, I think it's very pretty. Reminds me of one of my brother's old hamsters, who was largely white with just a little cream and grey - yes, I do know that is quite different to Duncan, but I guess it is the same three colours!
Mushu is doing very well, thank you changed his substrate yesterday which (fingers crosssed) he seems ok about. Now, we are both eagerly awaiting delivery of his new cage!

Re: Duncan's thread
lol! @ the bottle chorus! It is funny when they do things in unison like that, I often wonder if it is coincidence or not, guess we'll never know
I'm not good on syrians colours & mostly guess but I'd say he's grey carrying cream.

Re: Duncan's thread
I think that I've already told you this but I think that he looks like Sweep, pinkneon's ham. Maybe Sweep's thread says something about his coat. But anyway I'm terrible with this things, maybe he has a completely different coat, but I wouldn't say so.

I believe you have mentioned this, and I totally agree! I think I even mentioned it to pinkneon at one point. Still looking into his coat colors, I think maybe I'll post a whole thread dedicated to that to see if some breeders on here could give some input?
Duncan got some olive oil and flax in his food this weekend to help with his coat, it's gotten a bit sparse in some places. I can't really tell whether or not he liked it, but he ate all his mix without protest so I assume it couldn't be too bad!
(Caught in the midst of grooming)
This weekend I began the cage. I purchased several feet of hardware cloth/steel mesh as well as plexiglass. I'm thinking of making the finished cage German/natural style as I just think it's looks so aesthetically pleasing. Besides the fact that it's obviously much more natural for the hamster.
Duncan wanted to let everyone know that his slave has some exciting news which will be shared within the next few weeks. He thinks that everyone will be pleased with this news
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend

Re: Duncan's thread
Drago, I ABSOLUTELY love all the adorable and totally FUNNY pics of Duncan. He is such an amazing and hilarious guy filled with such expressive facial expressions. I know that he must make you laugh all the time due to his personality. He is extremely gorgeous, as well. I love his coat coloring and agree that he certainly resembles an opossum in appearance. I am glad that you and animal friends all had a WONDERFUL Easter. As far as the musical bottle performance is concerned, that is definitely a nightly occurrence in my home as well. Eros and my guinea pig Snickers always seem to enjoy performing that nightly ritual together.
Thanks for creating a thread for Duncan. I truly am enjoying it, and I definitely look forward to reading more of his adventures and seeing his silly expressions. Eros sends a "high four" to Duncan for all of his exciting exploits. The two of them would most certainly become instant buddies. I can only just imagine the face that Duncan must have given you when you were caught in the act of spying on his carpet masterpiece. It must have been a true Kodak moment!
I hope that you had a lovely weekend, too! I will be looking forward to hearing about your exciting news soon.

Re: Duncan's thread
Aww Duncan you really do have the sweetest face
The new cage sounds great Drago & I look forward to seeing that, I'm sure Duncan is going to be very happy with it too!
I'm guessing at the news... wonder if I'm right but not saying anything just yet!
Regarding the fur Drago I really wouldn't give olive oil, flax is always good, if you want to add in something else then try evening primrose oil, does he have a problem or is it just to keep him in good condition?

Re: Duncan's thread
Yay more pics of Duncan, can never have too much of his sweet face
I love watching them grooming I find it relaxing lol. I'm looking forward to seeing your new cage too, it sounds like it's going to look really nice.
I'm intrigued by your news Drago, though like Cypher I think I have an idea what it is. I guess we'll need to wait until you are ready to reveal all
