Re: Duncan's thread
What gorgeous pics of the hams you're looking after.
A shame about your biccies, maybe you could disguise them and try again?
A big Aww to Duncan's pics, he looks so adorable.

Re: Duncan's thread
AWWWWW that sleepy face is so cute!!!
You can't go wrong with more bedding even if he doesn't use it. Blacky liked to burrow and I thought that with deeper susbtrate he was going to make tunnels but I was wrong... anyway I think he enjoys moving the substrate from one place to the other and having more substrate to make his nest underneath. I'm sure he's going to be thrilled with his new cage

Re: Duncan's thread
What wonderful expressions he has He definitely has a "chew a hole in the carpet face" lol (his face made me think of your carpet repair thread :P )

Re: Duncan's thread
Hamsterita
Thank you! I sure hope that he'll burrow more once I can get him more bedding.
BorisPasha & Cypher
He definitely has some interesting faces. He gave me such a smug look after he chewed the carpet, as if it was I who somehow wronged him!
Thin Lizzy
Thank you I will try my biscuits again, but I'm going to try to adjust the recipe to see if they're satisfactory for his highness
Today Duncan tried some watered down low fat milk for the first time! Well, that was supposed to be the plan. He wasn't too interested and only took a sip or two
This picture just about sums up how interested he was
Instead, he broke into the nut tub
I'm hoping to add some pictures of Duncan after an Easter themed photo shoot
I hope you all have been having a lovely day!

Re: Duncan's thread
lol! He likes to make it obvious when he doesn't like something & clearly thinks the nuts are a much better option! Tucking in well there
I really wouldn't recommend giving them milk though Drago, even watered down they still can't digest lactose, occasionally if mine have porridge (& that's rare enough) I might use a little lactofree milk but never normal milk.

Re: Duncan's thread
lol! Duncan's not impressed, they're so good at telling & showing us their likes & dislikes. Love his cheekiness with the nut tub.
Love this little guy.

Re: Duncan's thread
BorisPasha & Thin Lizzy
Thank you, he is always very clear with what he likes and even more clear with what he dislikes! Luckily enough for me, he's never picky with his food (except for the millet, he doesn't enjoy that very much) so he eats just about everything
Cypher
Honestly, I never even thought of lactose free milk! Is there a particular brand you'd recommend? I'd love to get some (even if it's mostly for me) and share a bit. Perhaps he'll like that Thank you!

Re: Duncan's thread
I have no idea what lactose free milk you'd be able to get in the US Drago, the one I use (mostly for me) is just called lactofree, I think it's just milk with lactase added.
