Re: Duncan's thread
Those pictures of Duncan are melting my heart! He looks so relaxed and peaceful somehow. It's not that he is looking old, but I can just tell he isn't a young hamster anymore. He looks as though he has figured out the meaning of life and doesn't need to rush around like a young silly hamster anymore!
Exciting news with the Chinese and Remington! Can't wait for more news on them.

Re: Duncan's thread
Such sweet photos of Duncan enjoying his dinner. I'm sure he will think the wait for his new cage will be well worth it.
Looking forward to meeting Pepper. And that must also be very exciting for you to be getting a Chinese hamster.

Re: Duncan's thread
Thank you, I am very excited to welcome Pepper! It's about time there's been another Syrian running in this house, otherwise we'd be taken over by dwarfs
AprilPearl I have to agree with you on Duncan not being so young anymore. Makes me a bit sad that we got him so old, but he's going strong. As he ages, he grows wiser and learns how to get me to give him all the treats and let him have extra free range time. I hope he's around for a long time
I'm so bad with updating threads! I'm making it a goal to update a bit more often than I do. I created a YouTube account so I can hopefully post videos too
Duncan explored outdoors!
It's not high quality as I swore I took some really adorable photos of him on the table, but somehow they've disappeared off my phone? Odd... anyways, I don't usually advocate for bringing hamsters outside as I just don't think they'd enjoy it much, but he was on my shoulder and I had to bring my dogs in. It was for two minutes max. Plus, I live in the south and it's hot and humid all the time so it cannot be enjoyable for the poor critters
Look at that stubby little tail
I went to a pet store recently and I saw a litter of Russians for sale, they were absolutely adorable. I wish I could get one, but I don't have the space right now, especially since all my animals will hopefully be getting cage upgrades soon.
Hope you've all had a good week so far!

Re: Duncan's thread
Yesss we need videos of Duncan!! I didn’t mean he is looking old in a bad way, by the way. He’s just has a more kind of dignified air about him. He is still gorgeous, but you can tell he is more chilled out than a young hamster - something I sometimes miss about old hams. He is so sweet on your shoulder. I think he was enjoying himself there in that last picture, his shape reminds me of a little croissant haha.
