Default 4 Hour Journey.....?

The October Holidays are coming up next week and It looks like My family and I are heading up to huntly for a few days........Maybe 3 nights. I have a slight problem as my friend who is great with my 1 year old syrian and has hamster sat for me before will be in france next weekendI have a couple of options. eave her own her own or leave her with my neighbour or take her with. Its a 4 hour journey and i dont know if its the best option. I dont like the idea of leaving her on her own with lots of food and water either. Whats the best option?
Many thanks
Caroline xx

take with. 4 hours is no problemo, especially in her own cage. I've carted hams on a 4-hour journey tons of times

Remove the water bottle though, give a piece of veg like broccoli for moisture and then just put the water bottle back whilst you stop at service stations or whatever... me likes to stuff face on journeys, but maybe that's just me

Personally I'd leave her with the neighbour. It seems a long rattly journey which could be stressful for only 3 days. If the neighbour doesn't want to have her in her house she could pop in maybe twice a day for a check over and feed and water if you left a key.
