He really is! Yes I had the bath matt down but it didn't fully cover the whole bottom of the bath [hence why he could keep being a monkey and nibbling the plug], you can see the edge of in the second to last photo. I will try a bigger towel this evening!

Thanks dudes! We had another taming session yesterday and he's doing really well, he did fall asleep again mid session and I just wanted to check this is okay/not a problem? I tend to interact with him around 7pm, which is when he's normally up.

Young hams can tire out quite quickly & just suddenly fall asleep so it's nothing to worry about, they do often seem to have more energy when they wake again later at night than when they wake early sometimes.

The bath tub taming is going really well thanks, now when I come in the room he hops straight into the plant pot to get transported to the bath. It takes a little while at the start of each session for him to get comfortable being scooped up but I just wait until he's ready confident enough each time, starting off slow :] He likes to stay for cuddles and then go off for a little adventure exploring the tub. I take him back to his enclosure when he inevitably dozes off
