AprilPearll, I most certainly hopes that she does it again because I still wouldn't believe it if I didn't actually see it with my very own eyes!!! It was truly a sight to see, and I am still laughing just thinking about the craziness of it all. Well, I truly can say that she most definitely never fails to entertain and bring me to utter laughter and disbelief. If and when I ever catch her in the act again, I will try my best to take pics of her so long as my camera isn't acting up again. Fingers crossed!!!!

Awww my heart melted at the pictures of Princess Snickers Brightman, so so cute. I don't mind you sharing pics of her at all, I'm always pleased to see Snickers

And well Eros, is looking stunning as usual. I don't know how she manages to look so gorgeous all the time when she's such a busy spy catching evil villains.

They might not have been able to go to the fireworks but it looks like they had a fantastic time putting on their own show and enjoying the festivities in their own way.

Catching up with Eros (and Snickers)!

OH MY! It's always so fun to read your posts! It's like an adventure!.

And your photos are lovely. I really liked the lasts ones. I think that the American flag has lovely colours and the pattern is very cool too. I also like that you're so patriotic, I'm kinda jealous, because here in Spain we were under a fascist dictatorship til the end of the seventies and now it's hard for the people to distinguish between the fascism and the nationalism and the love for your country

You should be getting ready for the 4th of july!! I hope we can see more themed photos of Eros and Snickers!

Thanks, BP, Jennie, Thin Lizzy, and Hamsterita. I definitely had a lovely three-day weekend and the weather was thankfully quite lovely. I hope that you had a lovely weekend, as well. Yes, Hamsterita, we are all looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July soon, and I will be sure to post any themed pics that I may take of my precious furries.

I often wonder what all my furries are up to while I'm away for a few hours. I was then happily reminded of the silly antics that I was told by my pet sitter a few weeks ago. When she came in to check on and feed the furbabies and fish, Snickers was sweetly behaving like the perfect, little angel popcorning for treats and eagerly accepting a gentle pat on her head. When it came to Eros, my little hammy was nowhere to be seen. Therefore, the sitter became quite concerned and began to gently rustle the huge mound of bedding in front of the cage, but there was no noises coming from within and definitely no tiny nose or head poking out from below. Therefore, the sitter decided to just top-off the food bowl in the far-off, back corner of cage with some extra goodies and wait. However, since the bowl was covered with some bedding, she began removing each paper strand one by one until. . . "Kweee!!!!", screeched Eros as she immediately leaped out from under some bedding at the outer edge of the covered bowl. The pet sitter was startled to say the least, but then began to laugh as Eros literally grinned from ear to ear, held her front paws out like a miniature, furry vampire with wings, and hopped forward on her hindlegs repeatedly for quite some distance in the cage. When the sitter calmly said "It's ok, Eros!", Eros immediately ran sweetly to her bendy bridge for treats and a good petting. When the sitter tried to hand Eros a few extra treats anywhere else in the cage, Eros ran straight back to her begging post. (What a well trained hammy!) Of course, Eros has NEVER bitten or even tried to nibble on anyone so the sitter knew that everything was fine. Eros just wanted to make a very, VERY dramatic appearance and create a little scare for extra pizzazz.

I think it's quite funny how Snickers's adoption day is in October just prior to Halloween; whereas, Eros's adoption day is in February right near Valentine's Day! I think sometimes Eros wishes that she was the Halloween baby because that day she surely loved reenacting a vampire (without the blood of course). Well, that is enough of my rambling and reminiscing of days gone by, I just thought I'd share another crazy day in the life of my two babies. How different they are, and I wouldn't want it any other way! They are most definitely perfect in their own special way and have stolen my heart from day one. How wonderful it is to have your heart so overflowing with love!

Last night, after coming home quite late after an evening of fun festivities with family and friends, Mum turned on the light and surprised my naughty doppelganger. She thought it was me, but I want all of you non-furry, two-legged fans out there to believe me when I tell you that I was honestly snuggling with my paper towel blankie, all cozy in my nest like the perfect, innocent, furry angel that I am. My evil twin played a fast one on Mum because she was quite convincing and even tricked Mum into believe that SHE was actually ME! Can you believe the mere audacity of her trying to make Mum believe that I was mischievous while she was away? Well, I will display all of my evidence via pictures and see if you believe that it was actually me doing the deed. So here it goes!

My impersonator caught on hindlegs, surprised and pleading her case!

She's actually trying to really make it believable that it is me out there instead of her. You can't use my tactics of the hypnotic, pink eye for extra persuasion! That is off limits, deary! I have a patent on that one, and it is most definitely for my use only! I'm the spy - not YOU!!!

Mum snapped her fingers, said "Naughty, naughty, Eros!", and placed her open palm of her paw out for the naughty, pretend Eros to climb onto and use as her elevator going down.

You do believe me, don't you? I, Eros007, was the good little girly!

To make matters worse, Mum caught my DEFINITELY naughty doppelganger up to her EXTREME trickiness again right before she went to sleep. I would never be caught doing this, so I blame it on her for trying to get me into trouble with Mum!

See!!! THIS is Eros, and I know what a bottle is used for - sipping water droplets only! Don't I look like a precious, tiny baby and as innocent as can be with my lovely heart showing on my back? You can't blame me for last night's escapades!

For all those fans out there who honestly believe that I was framed and can help plead my case for me with Mum, I will give you extra, EXTRA whisker kissies. Actually, I will make it a lifetime of ticklish, whisker kissies to show my true appreciation for your loyalty and belief in me and my innocence!

Needless to say, Mum raised the bottle slightly higher so neither I nor my doppelganger can hoist ourselves up using the spout of the bottle as our chin up bar. She said she doesn't want to ever catch me pulling that stunt ever again. Mum STILL doesn't believe me and is calling me her "naughty, NAUGHTY!".

I love the story of how you played scary peekaboo with the sitter. I bet that was lots of fun for you. I wonder how long you had to wait in your hiding place for the perfect moment to jump out.

Well, although Mum was still not believing me and my story concerning last night's episodes, she said that she had an extra special treat for both Snickers and I. Of course, Snickers had these bright-colored, sweet, juicy thingies before quite frequently, but it was a first for me. She calls them "orange, SWEEEEEEEET P-E-P-P-E-R-S". Here I am enjoying one for the first time ever!

Mum gave me the smallest one that she could find in the bag, and I loved to gnaw on it in sections so each section appeared to be a delicate petal on a gorgeous, orange flower. Isn't that a lovely idea? Mum certainly got a kick out of it!



Mum was giggling at me again so I couldn't help making a silly face for her to enjoy! This is what I refer to as my sideways, pouty-mouth expression with puppy-doggy eyes included!!!! Love it, don't you!?!

Yum, YUM, Y-U-M-M-Y, yum-yum! I think it tastes even more scrumpteous when eaten with a slight cock of my head. It helps keep the sweet juices flowing!

Here I am just about to do my famous toss of the yummy in mid air! Mum was holding the camera in her right paw and actually caught my delicious treat in the other paw as it came soaring right towards her! EEEK, was she surprised! Hee-HEEE!!! Although she wasn't able to catch the orange yum-yum as it flew, WOW - is she G-O-O-D! This time, I'm taking the credit for this deed, doppelganger, so don't you get any ideas of stealing my fame for this toss to Mum. It was definitely MEEEEE!!!! See me holding out my right paw from behind the P-E-P-P-E-R? I'm giving Mum a slight heads-up that she should be prepared to catch the treat or it will go S-P-L-A-T!!!! Don't say I never give you hints at what's coming next!

This is me eating my final, hammy-made petal! I sure was getting full so no more, thank you! I'll have some at a later date because I sure LOVE these sweet, juicy things. Where have you been all my life!

Of course, Mum couldn't help herself but take a closeup of my gorgeousness!


Then, it was Snickers's turn for her treat, or should I say treats! While Mum was holding me in her left paw (she's a lefty, you know), she opened Snickers's cage door and hand fed her a few of these larger, colorful treats. I turned my head from left to right and back again repeatedly as if I were watching a Wimbledon tennis match being played right here before me. I looked at Mum, then the P-E-P-P-E-R, then at Snickers gently nibbling it from Mum's paw, and repeated this a few times. I sure was glad that the three of us could do this together. No worries though, Snickers remained in her cage the during this entire event, and I was definitely not even close to her and was held by Mum the whole time. It was just groovy having this bonding time with all three of us together for my momentous occasion - the experience of my newest yummy!!!

Your trust in me gives me the added encouragement to apprehend my always illusive, evil villain who is reeking havoc around here by tainting my good name and reputation for being the law-abiding, hammy super spy that I am!
