I always love your entries, Eros is an incredible little actress. I kinda feel sorry that you're unable to enter this month, as I'm Eros would have had so much fun playing a role in a movie. Do you think she would have chosen a spy movie or something else? I totally see her playing one of Angelina Jolie's roles. Maybe you should have a movie themed photoshoot despite not being able to participate in HOM?
Eros is just a definition of adorable in this last photo. She is so cute and adorable! I love that you both enjoyed LOTR. It's so sweet that she wanted to watch it with you. Marti is asking who is her favourite character there?

Thank you Burakki and Thin Lizzy; your sweet comments are much appreciated as always. Burakki, we are perfectly happy sitting this one out and are so excited to enjoy all of the wonderful entries that other members and their hams create using our chosen theme for this month's HOM competition. However, since you are specifically requesting it, we may choose to take a photo shoot (not to be entered into the competition) of Eros starring in a movie theme. If we do one though, we will only post it on Eros's thread and will do so after July's competition is completely over. I have several movies in mind, but we will just have to wait and see which ones Eros fancies doing, lol. Marti, I do not believe that Eros has an absolute favorite character in the first LOTR movie, although she seemed quite interested in the Nazgûl (also known as the Nine Ringwraiths). Tbh, I think she liked the way they screeched and enjoyed the exciting background music, lol. In the other two movies in the LOTR trilogy, Eros favored Gollum, the Navgul (again), Frodo Baggins, Legolas, Aragorn, Gandalf, and Gimli. Being the adventurer that she is, I believe that she chose them as her favorites since she seems to love battle and action scenes the most. My personal favorites are Arwen Undómiel, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and Samwise Gamgee.

Aww dreamtree the little chicks are adorable

So glad to see that they are all doing so well. My parents had blue tit chicks and green finsh chicks this year. I was trying to get a picture of the parents flying in and out of the nest box but they were always too fast

It's nice to see Eros's up to date HoM pictures, though it does make me wonder where the time is going this year when I see that we are in June already and it doesn't seem like 5 mins have passed since looking at Eros's January picture

Good to hear you and Eros have been enjoying watching Lord of the Rings and she looked very contented muching on her snacks

Thank you, BP! The house finch chicks look like punk rockers with their fluffy tufts of down feathers on top of their head; when there is a nice breeze, their "mohawks" sway from side to side as they open their beaks wide chirping for food. They really are an adorable sight to see. I was contemplating naming them, but I know they will fly away soon so I decided against it. Aww, that is so exciting that your parents had blue tit and green finch chicks! It is always so lovely when you are able to feel that you provided a safe haven for bird families to raise their young. I am so happy for you, your parents, and the two bird families. They are lovely birds; sadly, they aren't native to the U.S., too. I would love to see them in the wild; however, I have only seen them in the aviary section of zoos.

Yes, the time certainly has flown by so quickly. I can hardly believe it is already June; so many things (both happy and sad) have happened since the turn of the new year.

I am always so touched that Eros enjoys taking the time out from her busy adventuring agenda to snuggle with me on the sofa and watch a good movie while munching on her yummies of course, lol. I have to admit that the first time she did it, I was thoroughly surprised.

My parents have a wooded area at the back of their house so they are very lucky with all the wildlife they get in their garden, hedgehogs, birds, squirrels and even deer! Hamdad and I live in quite a built up area so sadly we don't get much in the way of wildlife so it is nice to be able to hear all about the wildlife at my parents

BP, your parents' wildlife sounds absolutely marvelous and charming. It would be so lovely to step outside your parents' house and be greeted by the sights of all of those lovely animals. I rarely see deer unless I am driving somewhere and luckily happen to spot one in a slightly wooded area on the side of the road, and sadly I never see any hedgehogs anywhere, not even at the zoo. I think deer are one of the most graceful animals, and hedgehogs are utterly adorable.

Today marks 16 months with my precious Eros; wow, the time sure has zipped past so quickly! This morning, I was greeted with a very eager face peering from inside her bin cage. Apparently, she knew it was an extra special day today, and she wanted to be sure to share some of my breakfast with me to celebrate, lol. She was in such a rush to come out that she didn't even bother with grooming her curlicue wisps behind her ears. She did look extra cute with her silly bedhead locks though and I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear at her appearance. Besides having her portion of my breakfast, she will get some extra treats and two, extra long playtimes with me to celebrate.

Oh Eros, your ooh-la-la, curlicue wisps behind your ears surely do make me laugh!

Thank you so much, Thin Lizzy!!! Your sweet words really do touch my heart. I really am very blessed to have such a special bond and love that I share with my darling Eros. She brightens all of my days, and I love her SO much!!!

Here is another photo of Eros. She no longer has her baby face anymore, but she will always be my baby ham regardless of how old she gets, lol.

Eros has a more maturer serious face, but, she's still an absolute star with her adorable, cute, funny expressions and that look of innocence always gives me the giggles.
