I am so very sorry to read this - Snickers was a beautiful girl and it was very clear you had a very special bond with one another - she also looked so very happy in all her photoshoots. You have given Snickers an amazing loving caring home where she was treated like the princess she was! I can understand how heartbroken you must be although it sounds like you made her final moments extra special and I'm sure she gratefully that you were there to comfort her.
I'm sure Eros will be more than happy to comfort you when you need a cry and a hug - we are also all here for you too!

Oh dreamtree, I am so very sorry indeed that your beautiful Princess Snickers has gone to the bridge in her forever sleep. I loved her photo shoots and she always had such a beautiful look to her. Snickers had a long and loving life with you. She would have always known how much she was loved right to the end.
RIP Princess Snickers and a big hug to you dreamtree.

Cypher, Souffle, Serendipity, SKB, Coco, and Emma H_amster_, thank you all so much for your very kind words and heartfelt condolences. Your support has been a huge comfort to me. To all those who have shown her kindness and love, I will forever be grateful. I miss my beloved Snickers terribly, but I'm truly grateful for all the years of loving memories we created together - I will treasure them always. To know my darling Snickers was to love her, and she surely captured many hearts during her life. Although it was so tragic to see her pass, I am thankful that I was able to comfort her and know in my heart that having me holding her and having the love of family surrounding her made her passing easier for her in the end. Eros even came out of her nest to say her final goodbyes from her cage. Eros has been a great help as she always manages to make me smile with her silliness and charm. She has been extra cuddly lately, too; I am so blessed to have my little Baby Bee (Eros) in my life, and I'm cherishing every single moment with her.

Thanks again, everyone. I am so lucky to have the most amazing, close-knit family, treasured pets, and such sweet friends who are there for me during my time of sorrow. Your kindness and support mean the world to me. Although I can hardly read through my tears what I'm typing at this moment, I am going to try my very, very best to remember Snickers with only happiness in my heart because I know that is what she would want. Snickers, I love you and am blowing sweet kisses to the heavens for you.

Emma H_amster_, thank you for your lovely portrait of my dear Eros. I love it; you captured the comical side of Eros perfectly. It is beautiful! Seeing it was like a ray of sunshine and it definitely put a smile on my face today. Thank you for that; you are so sweet.

Not only does Eros enjoy cuddling with me, but she also enjoys a good snuggle with any stuffed animal in our home including Baby Bear.

Eros has been giving me EXTRA whisker kisses lately; she is my truly loving heart ham and is always there for me. Since we miss Snickers so very much and our home just doesn't seem the same without her, I thought Eros may want to send some loving kisses to our little, darling Fur Angel at the Rainbow Bridge. Here are a few precious pics of Eros sending her love via heavenly post to our sweet Snickers and all those we have loved and lost. Snickers, I am sending infinite cuddles, kisses, and love your way, too.

She is part of the reason why I’m now conversing getting piggies for my birthday. I know she loved you very much, and with an owner like you, she was the happiest little piggie. Thank you SO very much, Astrid, Cypher, Burakki, and Serendipity; your comforting words mean the world to me. I am just taking it one day at a time, trying my best to keep focusing on the happy times with my dear Snickers, and creating new, precious memories with my lovable Eros. Eros really has been a true comfort to me and is always so eager to have extra playtimes, cuddles, and treats. She is definitely one exceptional ham, and I am so grateful that I have her in my life to love and cherish.

Burakki, it touches my heart that getting to know Snickers on HC has led you to now become interested in having sweet piggies in your life, too. They make incredible pets and I know they will bring you immeasurable joy and love; what a wonderful birthday gift for a very special person - you! If you do decide to get some, I would love getting to know them on HC. Please let Marti and Lemon know that Eros got their whisker kisses and send whisker kisses to them both as well. I am also sending them extra cuddles their way because they are being such loving and thoughtful sweethearts, too.

dreamtree, I am so very sorry to hear that your beloved Snickers has gone to the bridge. What an awful shock it must have been.

I always enjoyed hearing about our honorary HC guinea pig Snickers and was pleased that Eros so generously shared her thread with her. She was very beautiful and I'll miss hearing about her.

My heart goes out to you at this sad time. I'm glad you have Eros to shower you with cuddles and whisker kisses and I hope she will make this difficult time a little easier for you.
