Eros - A 007 Hammy Secret Agent!

BP, Eros is in an extra large and tall bin cage. Since she escaped that one time, I decided to put an extra heavy duty wire mess lid secured with many large clamps in various places around it even though the lid is extremely secure to begin with just in case she attempts the impossible. I hope that your next cage for Sparky will help solve the issue of his climbing the bars. I think our little furry hams try to drive us a bit bonkers at times, lol.

BTW, I just wanted to mention that I am thoroughly impressed that hamdad made Boris's helicopter and Pasha's tank. I hope that Pasha will gain some extra strength so he can enjoy his special toy soon. Hamdad sounds like a truly talented wood craftsman - I'm sure he makes the most marvelous hammy toys. You and your hamily are so very, VERY lucky. It sounds like you have the perfect Santa's workshop right in your very own home, lol.

He made the tank and the helicopter with empty cardboard boxes but I was impressed I have to say. Pasha has been in his tank to have a look but not for very long. I must post some pictures of them on their thread I'm curious to see what he'll make next

BP, you are most certainly right. We definitely wouldn't want it any other way. Making those two intricate vehicles out of cardboard boxes or any material is quite impressive. I would love to see pics if you have a chance to post them on their thread. Please give your hamily a nice cuddle from me and tell them that Eros sends whisker kisses, too.

Eros sounds to be full of mischief at the moment and has been busy perfecting her acrobatic stunts for you - I don't think they realise that their crazy stunts do make us worry but they are so determined to do what they want! Like Eros, Pumpkin has also been extra hyper this week too they must be excited for Christmas! I have also told Pumpkin she need to be on her best behaviour to for Santa paws but like Eros she seems to ignore me and continue with her mischief to - I'm sure they would like to inform us that Santa Paws gives more presents to mischievous hamsters.
So wonderful to see Eros's HOM entries again - she does know how to pose so perfectly to show of her beauty as well as her special personality. The stuffed pouches one has to be my favourite as her expression is so cute! I really like her Christmas HOM photo it looks like she kissing the elf mouse goodnight - the outtakes to are also very cute too!

SKB, I'm sure you are right about our little hams' thoughts on receiving those extra treats and presents from Santa Paws, lol. Eros has already been thoroughly spoiled this month (as always), and it is just the beginning of December. I know it will continue throughout the rest of the month and beyond, too. How can I possibly resist not spoiling her every moment I have a chance since she is just so irresistible. Thanks for the compliments on the HOM entries and the outtakes, too. She was giving the Mouse Elf whisker kisses right on its nose. I think she was surprised that it didn't wake up and begin to giggle like crazy like I do when she gives them to me, lol. She tried it a few different times during that photo shoot which allowed me to take the pic that I submitted for December, but in the end she just decided that the Mouse Elf must have been to exhausted to wake up from such an amazing dream. As a result, she went straight to me and gave my hand a few whisker kisses instead. She probably wanted to be sure that her whisker kisses magic still worked on giving me plenty of giggles (which it did, of course). She is a really lovey-dovey ham, lol. Eros is getting some cuddles from me right now as I read your comments to her. She is very, VERY pleased you liked her photo shoots.

Psst, it's me Eros! I have been trying my very best to keep Mum on her twinkle toes lately because she keeps telling me that Mouse Elf will be reporting all my mischief to Santa Paws at the North Pole. Since this will be my very first Christmas ever and Mum says it is her absolute favorite holiday of the year, I can't wait to experience it for myself. I'm sure that I will get extra treats since I have been keeping the mischief to the highest level of excellence to achieve the best results ever. I have to say that I have been enjoying this extra mischief tremendously if I may say so myself.

When I woke up this morning, I discovered that Mum was beginning to put up some Christmas cheer as she likes to call it. Snickers and I wanted to help as you could have probably guessed. Snickers wanted to help with the Christmas tree decorations, and I knew that Mum wouldn't be able to setup her Christmas Village without all my expertise and help. I think I had the funner job, but Snickers assures me that tree ornaments are where all the fun is. Since we were doing so wonderfully helping her out and had so much fun, she decided to get out C-A-M-E-R-A to join in the festivities, too. C-A-M-E-R-A made its usual clicky sounds and captured images of us in action as usual. I sure hope that you like what it caught us doing.

Here, Snickers is enjoying all the Sparklies. Although the 25th of this month will mark her 5th Christmas celebration, she still was amazed that they came in so many wonderful colors and shapes. Of course, she couldn't be any happier to pose with her friendly ornaments before Mum scooped her right up for a huge cuddle and kiss.


Then, Snickers found the tree topper star. Wait just a moment, Snickers! That's not a star; that's one of Mum's shiny bows for our presents under the tree. Anyway, how do you think you will manage to place that one on the very tippy top of that HUMONGOUS tree. No worries, Mum says that she will use her angel tree topper this year. I guess Miss Angel must be TRULY fearless because being up there will be a true death-defying stunt indeed! Just in case you are all wondering, I will never, EVER be caught creeping my way to the top of that tree because that is just Bonkers with a capital "B". I'm sure Mum will be pleased and quite relieved to know that. Btw, I decided to share a pic of my very 1st Christmas tree ever without the white, twinkly lights turned on because Mum said that C-A-M-E-R-A had to wait until it is a little darker to capture the lighting of the tree better. So, I suppose I will get to see plenty of shimmering lights (Mum told me they are like bringing the wishing stars right into our loving home) when the lights go out. Yippee and YAHOOeey! I can't wait to make more wishes and have ALL of them come true!




What do we have here? There are so many amazing things to explore and Mum hasn't even put everything out yet. I'm so glad that I can help with this wintry, wonderland village. The best things about it are that it is all hammy-sized and there are also so many hidden treats everywhere for my cheeks and tummy to enjoy.


W-A-R-M-I-N-G Hut? I'm so glad that I read Human, too. I think I will have to check this one out first. It has been getting a bit chilly outside lately so I wonder how cozy this adorable hut will be. Luckily for me, Mum always is sure to keep her house and mine nice and warm. But it couldn't hurt to check this hut just in case I decide to move in on the 25th. It's always nice to have a holiday vacation home as a spare. Hee-HEEEE!!!!!


Am I supposed to enter through the heart-shaped door window? I think this might be a slightly tight fit for even a hammy as talented as me. I know I have been known to fit in tiny places often but this is a bit ridiculous, don't you agree? Don't tell Mum or Santa Paws though because I wouldn't want them to get the wrong idea that I am no longer accepting treats due to my slight plumpness around the edges. We all know that crazy assumption could never become a reality! As you all probably realize, I have been treating myself and Mum has been spoiling me tons but I'm keeping to the story that the extra increase in size is due to my extra fluffy, winter floof. Oh, no! Mum is giggling at me again. She is informing me that I'm being silly again.


Goody. . . coast is clear!!! I just noticed that familiar scent coming from Mum's wishing well. I now know why she refers to it by that name because my wish has just come true. More yummies for my poor, teeny tiny tummy. I knew that I heard this mealworm calling my name. No worries, Creepy Crawly One; you won't be lonely for long where you are going to (first my cheek pouches then quickly to my rumbly tummy) so you can join all your numerous friends down there and be reunited once more.


What? I can hardly believe my eyes! I just discovered that Mum's (or should I say MY) wishing well has now become infested with tons of mealworms. No fears, Mum! I have come to the rescue to vacuum up these little, sneaky guys before you know it. Oh well, so much for proper dining etiquette. I think it will be understandable if I just dig right in with my nose first and suck these ones up in a flash. Now you see them. . . and now you don't!!! Hee-HEE-HEEEEEE!!!!


Oh, no!!! I think I just heard one of those naughty ones escape my clutches. Just kidding! I just wanted to have an excuse to squeeze my cutesy self through this tiny hole. Don't laugh; I just couldn't help myself! I know all you hampals out there truly understand what I'm talking about, don't you? Tiny hole = hammy squeezing through said hole = two-legged's great astonishment with hammy's skill and determination = MISSION accomplished. Please excuse me, Miniature Mouse; I'm so sorry to step on your tiny head with my adorable paw, but I'm sure Santa Paws will not forget your kindness in helping a hammy out when needed.


Wow, Old Father Time sure spins the hand of the clock around swiftly when you are having so much fun getting into mischief, etc. I have been on this keyboard thingy for quite a while now, and I think I just heard Mum coming from the other room holding Snickers. Don't worry, there will be more pics that I will share with you dealing with me helping Mum out with her village. However, that will have to come at a later time. I have to skedaddle before I get caught doing my secret mission of keeping you all informed with the latest news on my S-T-R-I-N-G-Y thing (aka Thread). Before I go, please know that I am sending tons of whisker kisses to all and to all a good night. TTFN. . . . I'm off to my comfy, extra cozy nest to get a few extra Zzzz's so I can be sure to keep Mum up again tonight if all goes as planned. Whahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

Astrid, thanks for the sweet comments. I'm sure Eros will be thrilled that you enjoyed her adventure and think she is cute and determined. There seems to be nothing she can't do when she sets her mind to it. She is my "Baby Bee" and certainly knows how to get into quite a bit of silly mischief in an instant, lol. I am so looking forward to meeting your Syrian ham when you get him/her after the holidays; I'm sure your little fur ball will bring you tons of joy and laughs, too. I know you are probably counting down the days.
