Eros - A 007 Hammy Secret Agent!

It was the wee hours on the morning of Halloween Eve, and I was enjoying a sweet slumber on Mum's cozy, warm lap. The next thing I knew, I was on top of a humongous, sparkly pumpkin and surrounded by blanket-sized leaves to keep me comfy and toasty.


I perked up my right ear to be sure that I wasn't hearing anything strange from the distance, but all that was audible was Snickers popcorning in her cage and Mum's comforting words telling me, "Happy Halloween Eve morning, Baby Bee!".


You can just imagine my great surprise - even my googly eyes couldn't believe what they saw! How did I get up here and what is that spiraling, twirly thing coming out from this pumpkin?


Let me give it a good whiff. Nope, not a yummy for my tummy!!!


Maybe, it's a climbing apparatus! Oops, I didn't realize that it was so collapsible!


Oh, well! I think I'll just do it the good old fashion way and climb onto Mum's paw where I'm sure there will be plenty of yummies waiting patiently for my tummy fridge.

Moments later. . . . Oooh, who do we have here?


Does Mr. Halloween Mouse want to come and play with me?


Just give me a moment to get a little grooming in first please. I didn't realize we were expecting any guests this early in the morning.


Who could that be knocking on the door at this hour? Hehehe - just tricking you, Mum! It's just the wind blowing extra hard outside. Boy is it getting extremely chilly outside!! I'm glad that we are all so nice and warm in here.


Come on, Mousey!! Jump on your hindlegs and let's skiddaddle to the other side of this gargantuan pumpkin hideout. It's a race so don't be a slowpoke, o.k.? Sorry I'm such a crazy blur, but that's speed for you!


Now for a yummy mealworm treat to celebrate my winning. Sorry Mr. Mouse, but maybe next time.

Absolutely Beautiful photos of Eros posing so perfectly alongside her pumpkin. I LOVE all these photos - they are all so CUTE! Looks like she had lots of fun with the Pumpkin and the Halloween mouse. The 3rd, 7th and 9th photos have to be my favourite!

Pumpkin and myself want to wish Eros, Snickers and you a scarily cute Halloween with lots of yummy treats!

What a very spooky story but it looks as though Eros took it all in her stride. That doesn't surprise me of course Given her spy background I'm sure she will have dealt with scarier and more dangerous

Thank you for all the sweet messages, Souffle, SunnyOy, Cypher, Ruth, SKB, and BP. We had the greatest time doing the photoshoot so we are very pleased that you enjoyed it. Eros, Snickers, and I are wishing you and all of your adorable pets a very happy, safe, and adventurous Halloween filled with treats galore. I am also sending you all big hugs and my furry gals give you tons of whisker kisses, too.

This morning, I could hear Snickers playing outside her cage and munching on romaine lettuce and such. I decided to take a quick peek out of my nest to see what was going on. After Snickers finished her Halloween treats and her usual cuddles, she popcorned right into the jack-o-lantern treat container and made cute faces at Mum.



Then, Mum surprised me by putting me on that silly pumpkin. This time I didn't get my usual treats. Instead, I received some delicious, fresh (not store bought) pumpkin seeds that family brought over for me to munch on to celebrate this being my very first Halloween ever. Mum told me that we will have a few of these scrumptious treats prior to going trick-or-treating for more yummies. Yippee!!! Is it really, REALLY Halloween - a fun-filled time for being extra naughty, dressing up, AND filling up on tons and TONS of treats?




If nibbling extra fresh pumpkin seeds is what Halloween is all about, I sure understand what all the excitement is about. YumMMY!!!!



Now a bit of vacuum action. . . . Shvoooooo. . . come to me, Yummies!!!
