Eros - A 007 Hammy Secret Agent!

You are too kind, Thin Lizzy! I'm so glad that her many adventures make you so happy because I love sharing our joy with all of our very dear friends. Btw, Eros just came out of her sausage box and squeaked a message to you and MH. I am not quite fluent in hamster-talk, but I am quite certain that she shows her greatest gratitude for the scrumptious care package you sent via express air jet and parachute. The selection of nuts smothered in seriously strong, soft cheese made her lick her paws over and over again just to be sure there were no leftover morsels hiding in her fur; she didn't want to miss any of the yumminess. Of course, the melted cheese on granary toast was a huge, HUGE delight, too. Thanks you!!! Whisker kisses and tons of love to you both. xxx

Thank you so much for your kind comments, SKB! My fluffs and I absolutely love catching up on all of gorgeous Pumpkin's adventures in her thread, too. We so adore her. I'm sorry that I didn't respond to your post earlier. Somehow, I seemed to have missed seeing it earlier. Hmm? Yes, Eros always has a blast when she has outside of her bin free-roaming time with me. It is tons of fun for the both of us, and I'm so very lucky that she enjoys these adventures so much. Lol, she sure is a silly goose when trying new foods, though! Luckily, she gave the peanut another try just as she did with all other new food options and discovered that she loves them all. Snickers also totally enjoys outside of her cage time, too. She is much more laid back and calm especially now that she is much older, and we have the greatest time together, too. She does totally love nibbling on her sweet peppers. It is so silly how my two furries are so extremely different. Eros just grabs her pepper and quickly proceeds to chew it in a way that it begins to open up like a flower with the petals still attached at the base. Then, she grabs each pepper petal, nibbles it a bit, and shoves it into her cheek pouches as quickly as possible. A few seconds later, she retrieves pieces from her stuffed pouches and eats them in its entirety. She does this with the craziest and most humorous expression on her face as her different colored eyes look at me to see if I'm amused. She sometimes also puts her paws on her cheeks and makes the most astonished expressions. I included one such expression in August's Stuffed Pouches HOM entry because it was just so humorous and typical of her to look this way, lol. (She had just eaten a grape for the first time in that one, though!) Snickers, on the other hand, gracefully places her paws gently on the sweet pepper and begins to nibble on it so ladylike as she glances up at me with her huge, melting chocolate eyes.

My family is now settled in quite well considering all that had happened, and their community is doing much better as well. Everyone is just taking one day at a time, and I'm just so thankful that family, friends, and complete strangers have come together in such a unified force in making such a difference to help.

Cypher, BP, Thin Lizzy, and Coco, thanks for your sweet comments. As always, they are truly appreciated and I will certainly share them with my precious girls.

Coco, we are all greatly saddened by the passing of your beloved Sir Mocho and we always wish that we can somehow do more to help ease the pain and sadness of those left behind. We get so attached to all the animals and their owners here on HC, and we consider them our friends. Yesterday and today was quite emotional for us as I know it was for all on HC. We spent extra time cuddling and remembering all those that have passed to the Rainbow Bridge and sent tons of love to them over the rainbow. We are giving you and all those who have lost a dear one plenty of hugs, too. Thank you for sending cuddles to my girls; I am taking turns giving cuddles from you to them right now. Hugs. xxx

Well said dreamtree, Sunday I sobbed my heart out and Master Harvey clung on tight and we had plenty cuddles. Today, Monday has been the same, MH has been waiting on his cube when he hears his alarm call from my phone and there's been loads of cuddles and whisker kisses.
Isn't it great how our little ones know when we're sad and know exactly what to do?
