Re: Introducing Eros
Aww at the little sandy paw prints, what a clever girl Eros is, making you a lovely work of ary. Even if you didn't get a clear picture, I'm sure you'll always remember it

Re: Introducing Eros
Cypher and BP, Eros really had a wonderful time showing off her artistry with the sand. I definitely will never forget the image of her masterpiece; I will keep it safely stored in my memory. However, I just wanted to have a precious keepsake of it on my refrigerator door, too, lol. I'm sure one proud ham-mum!
Early this morning, I was sitting around having my breakfast when Eros decided to come out of her burrow to greet me with such a pleading to come out look on her face. Naturally, I was more than happy to oblige. She not only had plenty of playtime, but she also managed to get a sample of my breakfast, too.
Nyum, nyum! Thanks for sharing; I sure love that crunchy toast, Mum! Can I have seconds since there are only few tiny crumbs left? I didn't mean to eat it all too quickly!

Re: Introducing Eros
Lol be careful or Eros will invite herself to breakfast every day and eat all your toast! You could write a book called "The Hamster Who Came to Breakfast" (like The Tiger Who Came to Tea). She's looking very fluffy and cuddly.

Re: Introducing Eros
Miss Eros you are so fluffy, yet kind of tough guy looking, and your antics really make me happy. I wish I could share toast with you, but I like Marmite on mine.

Re: Introducing Eros
Thanks, AprilPearl, BP, and Ruth! Yes, she repeated the same ritual both yesterday and today. I think she thinks it's her toast that she is 'kindly' sharing with me, lol. I am just so pleased to see her bright and early every morning. She is my little sunshine!
Ruth, what does Marmite taste like. I looked it up on the internet, and it said it is a yeast extract spread that is extremely salty. I never heard of it before and wanted to know if there is anything that tastes similar.

Re: Introducing Eros
Hi dreamtree, Marmite is something that mums would spread VERY thinly on buttered toast for their toddlers to dip in their soft boiled eggs, or to hold in their sticky paws. Only people raised with Marmite seem to like it, others say it's horrid. It's very concentrated.
The Aussies have something like it called Vegemite. When you make a roast or casserole you get a brown sticky goo in the roasting pan or the pot lid, it's a bit like that but vegetarian.
I've been reading a bit of Eros early history today.
No wonder people thought she was a boy, she's so fluffy, even with a skirt. Bit ironic, that.
If she was in a film it could be Calamity Eros. Hope Eros doesn't feel I'm being cheeky there, I think she's lovely.

Re: Introducing Eros
Aww Eros, good on you getting some of your mum's toast, MH loves his toast with either butter or his favourite melted cheese.
You always manage to look so innocent lol!

Re: Introducing Eros
I was "raised with" marmite as all my family like it but I really hate the taste. I think it's a love it or hate it thing.
