she is just settling in don't worry about it give it a week and she hopefully by then should have understood her sleeping routine. hamsters will be awake in the night and sleep in the day. the first day you got her she was probably just exited and exploring her new habitat. The best thing you can do is to leave her be before she is all settled in but maybe talk to her so she gets use to you. then you can start taming starting with hand feeding treats but not anything stressful. Then put the food in the middle of your hand and see if she will eat it the you can start picking her up and touching her. the longer you let her settle in the better.

hope this was helpful, good luck with tamingx

First off congrats on your new ham! Don't worry about it, she'll take a minimum of about a week to settle in to her new home and in this time she may display behaviors that indicate she's stressed or curious. Leave her alone for 4 days to a week before starting to tame. Begin by giving treats, talking calmly to her, and leaving tissue with your scent on it outside of the cage. Don't stress out over it, and enjoy your new little one!

It's totally normal to worry about a new ham! I was so paranoid when I got my first hamster that I could barely sleep. Everything I did with her was worrying because I wasn't sure if I was messing up! You'll get used to it with time, and worrying shows you care!
