This month photoshoot theme is easier to do with untamed or no so tame hamsters than others, because you only need a cup, and they usually are confortable using them as hide outs, so I hope we can see him on this month thread!

Yes! I think this theme is going to be fantastic for our Kili! Climber and I have an idea already on how we are going to set things up for him.

Any suggestions would be amazing!

See the stylish playpen thread.
Here is a link to the USA equivalent of the storage cubes. This will make a bigger play pen, but you can get smaller storage units.
https://www.amazon.com/SONGMICS-Stor...+cubes+plastic
You also need cable ties/zip ties and strong tape to cover the corner holes where the panels join together.
You can also make a cardboard playpen or correx playpen. There may be tutorials on here or YouTube.

Re: Kilian, the New Ham on the Block
Great news guys!
Kilian is walking all over both climber and me! He is still nervous and doesn't want us to pick him up though. He refuses to come out of his "potato bucket" (the tool we use to get him out of his bin cage) and back into his cage. He just wants to play and explore more and more. "I don't want to go back into my cage, Mommies." he seems to say.
We are both so excited! This is a huge step in taming!
@CMB & Leedsgurl
Thank you so much for your advice on the playpen. Both climber and I are thinking about doing a playpen like the Rupennies have. Thank so much for your advice.

Re: Kilian, the New Ham on the Block
Glad things are progressing nicely. I sat in the tub with my Syrian which was nice for about 10 min, then she starting getting agitated. But maybe that's something you could try? I think we bonded more even though it was such a short time

He is ever so sweet. I love his colouring. Good luck with the playpen. Hope he enjoys it.

Re: Kilian, the New Ham on the Block
I am so proud of our Mr. Kili.
He finally is willingly walking into our hands. In fact, when we try to put him back into his potato salad bucket to put him back into his cage(when free playtime is over), he gets very sad and wants to come back out.
I am so proud of him. He has come a long way from that small skitish hammie(that wouldn't let you touch him or take treats from your hand) to this wonderful sweet boy.
