I saw this update on Instagram yesterday, and I was so happy!

Tell blacky to keep it up with his meds, and continue eating. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery

Hamsterita, I am so relieved that Blacky is now eating and coming out of his nest to gather food. It surely sounds like the meds are working for him. Yippee! I hope that he gains more and more strength and fully recovers as soon as possible. Keep up the good work eating your meds, Blacky. We all love you so much and want you to be as healthy as can be. Your support means a lot to me. I don't want to jinx it but I think that Blacky is fully recovered. He needs to put some weight, as he went form 294 to 274 grams, but his weight is stabilized now, and yesterday the scale was changing all the time between 274-276 so I hope he starts to recover his old weight. He is eating as usual and his poops are starting to look fine (the poops are the way to know if he is eating ok and his bowels are working ok). He finished his meds on Monday and he's being doing ok without them, so I'm thrilled. I was very scared and your support helped me to keep my things together and don't loose it.

I'll try to share some videos of him eating again soon.

Hello Mr Blacky,
It is me Ghost, I know my Hooman has been chatting with your Hooman on that Insta thingy and helping you through your tough times with you Mr Blacky being poorly.
So I thought I would pop by and say hello, thank you for what you have said about my Hooman, he does seem a fairly decent sort, and has given me a nice place to live with a giant wheel to run in, and lots of things to climb and chew and a big deep sand pit to play in too.
I have let him stroke me a little, but I get scared by this giant Hooman with such big paws that can swallow me all up. When I get braver I may let him do more, but until then I think I will stay just a little wary for a bit longer.
I hope to be your friend, I have heard all about my former sis Pippin and she sounds like a wonderful hammy I hope I can grow up to be like her as much as I can.
