Chewing
My little hammy coco has gotten into this awful habit of bar chewing and because she is in a bin cage and the window at the side is connected with zip ties she has now started chewing them woke up this morning and she has gnawed threw two (she's not eating them just chewing) she has got all different things to chew but insists on these two things! i seen somewhere that either vegetable oil on the bars but not sure if thats okay.
Picture of cage below its big enough in my opinion

Re: Chewing
The cage size looks ok but a little empty, the best thing with bar chewing is to ignore it so it doesn't become an attention seeking behaviour & provide lots of distractions.
Other things to chew like whimzees & scatter feeding rather than using a bowl (best to change gradually though & keep putting a little food in the bowl for a while) are some of the best things, make her work for her food & have fun doing it!
You may need to replace the ties with bolts if she really begins to chew through or you may have an escape to deal with!
There's a good thread on bar chewing here.
