Excited!
So I am preparing for a new Syrian hamster! Since Lexi passed in January I have wanted one but have been waiting until I thought the time was right.
I have ordered a Barney cage and it is due to arrive on Wednesday so hopefully I will be bringing home a new little one next weekend.
Toy shopping is so much fun and I can't wait! I have been dreaming about what my Syrian will look like, name ideas and all sorts.
If anyone has any experiences with the Barney cage or set up ideas I would love to see photos!

That is exciting! I always enjoy preparing things for a new ham, loads of fun 
If you have a look through the Lets see your cages thread I'm sure you'll find some Barney set ups.

Haven't seen any hamsters yet. I have to travel 20 minutes to get to the place I am adopting one from so I will see when I get there. Didn't even think about googling cage set ups! I have a cold so my brain isn't working as good as it could hehe. Thanks everyone!
