Treats, Cuddles and more Cuddles

With gradual change Pumpkin is now accustomed to coming out at 8:30 BST- I think she realised her cuddle time was half an hour short which is cuddle time she didn't want to miss out on. Sometimes she is a little later coming out but I don't mind waiting. Wednesday Pumpkin was eagerly awaiting me as I had to go out for the evening which meant I didn't get home to 9pm - she demanded lots of cuddles that evening as well as Thursday to make up for the cuddles she missed out on - she is a real cheeky monkey because as soon as I placed her back in her playbin she was instantly demanding another cuddle.

As well as demanding cuddle Pumpkin also demand her treats in the evening after she returned to her cage after her cuddle time - and even though Pumpkin isn't a food orientated hamster she sure doesn't let that stop her for making sure her evening treats get placed in her treat dish. She typical has no patience when I'm deciding what she will be having every evening that she takes to standing in her dish as to make a point that it empty! I managed to get photos of this although she had just finished eating her porridge oat and linseeds (this is why the bowl looks the way it does) but this didn't stop her demanding more ...

Those two where the only good photo (although slightly blurred) I have taken on Pumpkin recently, every time when I attempt to take photos she moves or runs of so this has resulted in these photos ...

Today whilst I quickly popped into ASDA, I had a quick look in their home-ware section to see if they had any new cute teabag tidies to use as treat dishes - the last few time they didn't have any new one however this time they did - so got these 2 cute dishes (both were £2 each) ...

Pumpkin's new layout is very impressive I'm glad to see she's still practising her camouflage techniques though she is already so perfect at it.

Love the picture of her begging for treats with he paw in the empty porridge bowl lol, she's very cheeky but very adorable

Aww, Pumpkin never fails to make me giggle! Pumpkin knows she's always deserving of a completely full treat container even if she just finished (or hid) all of her yummies prior to demanding that she needs more, lol. She's quite the hamgal!!! I also love her darting away from being captured in pics. Those are such classic hammy poses, lol. Now you see me; now you don't!!!!! Great finds with those two new food dishes. I'm sure they will look great and cheery in her future palace themes.

Pumpkin does enjoy demanding her evening treats and extras once she has emptied her bowl - however she receives a cuddle instead of extra treats which she doesn't complain about. I am so looking forward to using Pumpkin's new treat dishes in her cage - I am sure she will enjoy standing in them!

Mischievous Moments

This week Pumpkin has been eagerly waiting to come out in the evening for cuddles and is already up and waiting when I go to get her out at 8:30. However she is often doing something mischievous whilst she waiting for me.

One evening Pumpkin looked so surprised to see me with her pouches fully stuffed - a result of her stripping her treat stick almost bare. Then she ran off to her ceramic mushroom house to hide the evidence and for her to enjoy in secret later on. Whilst in the process of emptying her pouches, Pumpkin kept peering out of the hideaway and she looked in dismay to see me photographing her hiding pieces of evidence of the treat stick disappearance - as obviously it wasn't Pumpkin who stripped the treat stick

Then yesterday Pumpkin was caught in the process of chewing part of her grass nest - she looked so innocent and sweet when I discovered what she was doing. Then she stuck her house up between the grass nest and acrylic and was sniffing the air whilst showing of her beautiful teeth - I missed this opportunity but luckily once I switched my camera on she did it again. Pumpkin always looks so cheeky whilst doing this that I call this her pose her "cheeky grin!". Although she knew it was time to come out that didn't stop Pumpkin wanting to continue to chew her grass nest up.

Once she was out for playtime she was so energetic and was constantly demanding cuddle after cuddle after cuddle!

LOL, Pumpkin sure is a silly ham with so much personality and charm. I can't stop laughing at her funny antics! All those pics in the latest photoshoots are totally precious, priceless, and tell the story so perfectly. Pumpkin looks absolutely gorgeous as always and all the photos are awesome. I feel like I'm right there enjoying the entertainment of your darling, little, cheeky Pumpkin at her greatest comediham moments. She certainly has been an extremely busy, mischievous one lately. If Eros and Pumpkin got together for some mischief, who knows what adventures they would get themselves into, lol. They make the perfect hampals - silly gals through and through.
