What a great deal for that pineapple, a really good hideout for Pumpkin. The last 2 photos are just so appealing. Beautiful girl!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Oh that is adorable! Now Pumpkin can pretend to be Spongebob Squarepants in his pineapple house - though, obviously, not under the sea! You always find the best things for her

Re: All About My Pumpkin
I absolute love Pumpkin's new ceramic pineapple house. It's great, and I'm sure that she will have such a marvelous time in there. It already looks like she is enjoying it so much. You always find the most splendid items for you little princess; what a lucky girl!
I'm sure that your heart must have skipped a beat due to the fright, but I'm glad all is fine. I am so relieved that Pumpkin didn't try to escape and instead waited patiently for her mum's loving hand to come to the rescue. She is such a wise one to realize that the best place in the world is right with you getting pampered and adored so much. She looks so sweet and playful in the playpen pics. Yes, Pumpkin, you can get PLENTY of cuddles from all of your adoring fans; in fact, there is a limitless supply of them because you are such a sweetie. She is SO, SOOOOOO. . . . cute!!! Great pics as always of the most gorgeous Pumpkin.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
That pineapple is great SKB, just perfect for her, love the photos of her trying it out & the play bin photos too, peek a boo is just so sweet
I had to laugh at her waiting for you to show her what to do when you left the lid of her box, those moments are real heart stoppers but it's good to laugh after the event

Re: All About My Pumpkin
That pineapple is fantastic SKB, you have a real eye for finding such good things for Pumpkin She looks lovely sitting in it and I like the idea that you can fix it on so that it won't fall on her is she is burrowing undernath it
Pumpkin is looking very sweet in the last 2 pics. I'm glad she was a good girl and didn't decide to jump out

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Thank you Coco61, AprilPearl, dreamtree123, cypher, Thin Lizzy and BorisPasha. I'm so happy I found that Pineapple house - I did try to mix up some Plastikote to touch up the top but couldn't get a match so I might just leave it how it is. Whenever I go out shopping I always like to keep an eye out for anything I could possible use for Pumpkin - but it even better when I find something cute but also at such a good price. It was such a relief that Pumpkin didn't decide to jump out of her playbin onto the floor - it was funny seeing her starring at me all confused but now I'm extra careful in making sure that the lid is on her bin cage properly!
____________
Fresh Homegrown Sweetcorn Excitement
This is the time of the year in which my past girls absolutely loved, the day when my dad picks his first batch of sweetcorn of the year from his allotment. This meant that this evening Pumpkin got her first taste of fresh home-grown sweetcorn (although Pumpkin has tried my dad's homegrown sweetcorn before but it has been frozen and cooked).
Pumpkin was really excited when she got giving her piece of sweetcorn along with some roast chicken during her cuddle time. I managed to get some photo before Pumpkin took her sweetcorn on a guided tour of her playbin. She even took it for a little run in her wheel before stashing it away in her hideaway for safe keeping!
"This is delicious, must find somewhere safe to hide it!"
When Pumpkin was out for her cuddle time - she spent most of the evening demanding cuddles - or possibly more sweetcorn! - that she only had a little nibble of her sweetcorn. So when it was time for Pumpkin to be returned to her cage her sweetcorn came with her - so she could enjoy more of during the night!
Here is Pumpkin having a late night snack on her sweetcorn!
It was so lovely seeing Pumpkin's reaction as it brings back so many wonderful memories of all my past girls excitement when they got homegrown sweetcorn.
This week Pumpkin has also decided to move house. She is no longer sleeping in her nice new DIY house but has instead decided to sleep beneath the stand upon which her wooden wheel is on. I think it may be due to me cleaning her house - and removing the pee soaked bedding! But as long as she happy I don't mind where she she sleep - although she has been keeping me waiting for her to wake up for her cuddle time - obviously left her alarm clock in her DIY house!
This was Pumpkin this evening kicking Fitch over one of the entrance she is using to get beneath her wheel stand! Although Pumpkin is still continuing to also block up her house entrance every evening to, even though she not using it!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Wow! Pumpkin sure is lucky to have specially homegrown corn from your dad. I'm not surprised she loved it. Lol, Pumpkin carrying her corn on the cob around and giving it a very special tour and running on the wheel with it, too. Those must have been truly memorable moments, indeed. I love it when hammies carry their oversized treats in their mouths and prance around with them. Great pics as always; my favorite one has got to be the first in this last set. What a cutie! Lol, Pumpkin leaving her alarm clock in the DIY house and blocking the entrance even though she has temporarily moved out.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Lucky Pumpkin! The sweet corn looks so good & it's lovely to see & hear how much she loved it
Great photo of her busy with her house keeping too! Maybe she still has something special in her house that she needs to keep safe from prying eyes even if she's not sleeping in it!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
It must have been so funny to watch Pumpkin running about with her sweetcorn. She looks very triumphant in that first photo! Quigley has had baby corn, but not fresh corn on the cob. After seeing both Ghost and Pumpkin enjoy it so much, I must buy some for Quigley to try.
