Catching up with Pumpkin!!

OMG!! I absolutely love the photos of the HOM photoshoot!! They are simply brilliant! And she was soooo cooperative. They are very sweet, and funny, and... perfect! Did you do the broomstick by yourself?? It's so cool!!

Pumpkin's new wheel looks amazing. I'm thinking about getting a new wheel for Blacky too, but right now I don't have any problems with the trixie wheel that I had bought for him and I'm afraid that If I buy a new one I could have problems with undesirable noises. I also have a lot of doubts because I want a wooden wheel, but I don't know which one is better.

Pumpkin's playbin is very cool. I'm sure she's having a lot of fun in there!

I'm glad she is as cuddly as usual

EDIT: And OOOOOOHHHHH MY!! I'm so jealous right now watching all those treats and toys!! I would love to be able to buy all those things where I live, but I have to stay positive and think about my pocket, it will be grateful!! Lol

I think the reason for the wheel to look silvery as the day I took the photo it was really sunny so my living room looked was very and also I was using my tablet to take the photo instead of my camera.
I'm the same, I always worry that I wont like the way something looks after I have painted it - when I painted Pumpkin's (formally Sherbet's) DIY house - cream and yellowy/orange I didn't like the overall way it looked but I find this colour combination grew on me and now I quite like it. Normally I stick with colours that I know look nice together so I wont regret the colour I painted them - although one advantage of painting something clear is that you always have the option to paint it a different colour at a later date.


Hamsterita - Yes, I did make the broom for Pumpkin's HOM photoshoot myself from an apple stick and some sisal string. I was really struggling to come up idea of props to use and this idea came to me and I thought it was worth a try. I'm very happy that I managed to get the photo that I had visualised.
I also too worry about buying a new wheel at it being very squeaky - like the wheel that came with Honey and Caramel initial cage that wheel made the most awful squeaky noise that I had to move their cage out of my bedroom but I could still hear it!

I tried last night to get some photos of Pumpkin, as I haven't got any of her for a while - well it wasn't very easy as she was very hyper and wouldn't sit still long enough - she would much rather run in her wheel, beg for cuddles and groom in her grass nest than sit still long enough for a clear photo - so here are the three clear photos that I managed to get of Pumpkin.

How can I say no to this! When I see her staring at me I ask her if she wants a cuddle and she will sit like this waiting for me to come over to her cage for a cuddle!

Lovely photos She's so lucky having two wheels & so much to do in her cage & play bin, the begging for cuddles photo is really sweet, you couldn't possibly say no!

Aww that last photo is so sweet, I just want to reach in to the picture and pic her up She has a very cute bum as well in the wheel pics

It's funny when they run about from wheel to wheel. Artie and Boris used to always do that when they had an upright and a saucer in their cages, I would get tired out just watching them zip from one to the other :P

I wish I knew how you manage to get so much enrichment in Pumpkin's cage and playpen without it looking cluttered lol. Mine just end up looking really messy I know I've said it before but I'm going to be boring and say it again you're so good at doing cages
