Awww Pumpkin, she's such a sweet girl Love that 4th pic of her with her treat in her mouth lol.

I laughed hearing about her impatience with her treats, she sounds like Artie. I give them all scatter feed and a little treat in the evening and I go round in order of when we got them. Artie being number 4 and usually the first one up has to wait a little and he's very impatient. He goes up and down to his shelf where his whimzee crocodile is looking for his treat. Then he looks in my direction as if to say "what are you doing?!"

I like how organised she is with her treats too, it's cute that they all have a special place depending on what it is, she's such a character

Pleased to hear your Grandma is making small improvements. It's hard but all you can do is take one day at a time and enjoy all your cuddles and fun with Pumpkin

Thank you cypher, BorisPasha, Hamsterita and Thin Lizzy. Its really lovely watching Pumpkin tidying up her treats - she often has to make sure that they are exactly were she left them. Pumpkin doesn't often beg for treats often whenever she returned to her cage after cuddle time she know she get her treats - it really funny when I put a treat in which she not what she was expecting or not a favourite of hers - the expression on her face is really funny and she often leave them in her treat bowl and when I go to bed they are still there but they are normally gone in the morning.

"Not Again, Pumpkin!?"

I haven't manage to get any new photos of Pumpkin as I have been really busy and I have also had a really bad cold, so couldn't cuddle Pumpkin as much as I wanted to.
Although last Saturday Morning, Pumpkin was very awake which was quite unusual, she was running around, napping and grooming in her grass nest - and doing all her usual evening things including being silly and begging for cuddles - which I sadly couldn't cuddle her due to my cold. It did make me feel better even though laughing at her made me cough and I couldn't talk to her as I had also lost my voice. In the process of Pumpkin trying to beg for cuddles - she ended up standing on her back legs in her water bowl - looking a little confused. I had to run over to her cage to help to rescue her and dry her off - the things Pumpkin gets up to! I changed her water and put slightly less water in so if she did it again - as if! - she wouldn't get to wet!

You will never guess what!? Later that evening I went to check on Pumpkin - to make sure she was staying out of trouble and I was greeted by someone wet paw print on the stone next to the acrylic. But this little troublemaker was nowhere to be seen - when she heard me taking photos - I saw a little pink nose appear at the entrance to her house - I still had no voice so had to whisper to her instead "Not Again, Pumpkin!?". I did have to check her to make sure she was dry luckily she was but it looked like this time she only got one paw wet - but I must say I do like the photo I manage to get of her paw print! She has not been paddling in her bowl again but I think she wanted to try to her paws at paw-painting - so her is her masterpiece! -although I rather she stuck to making sand paw prints instead!
I'm now better and have my voice back - Pumpkin got a little scared and confused when I tried to talk as my voice sounded really croaky - and she didn't quite understand it was me so she was a little shy but she has since regained her confidence and is continuing to demand more cuddles and mealworms!
My Grandma is also making good progress recently although still in hospital. I feel slightly happier but when I saw Pumpkin half eaten Easter egg it reminded me it coming up to a year on for that devastating day when Sherbet had her accident which left me really emotional, although I have Pumpkin cage clean already planned for that day so at least I will have something to distract me from the sad memories.

Also sadly last night my red LED have finally decided to stop working, I was very disappointed I couldn't watch Pumpkin last night to well as I have to use a dimmable white light, but I'm planning on going to IKEA soon - to get Pumpkin a larger playbin and I might also look at the multicolour LED light similar to my white one I currently have above her cage.

Oh wow I really love that photo with her paw prints, you'll be glad you managed to get a pic before it dried

Sounds like she's been up to plenty mischief standing in her water bowl. She probably knew she would get a cuddle out of it though, Pumpkin is a very clever girl. I stick bowls in the playpen when they're out and it's not the first time I've seen Boris walk right through it then stand at the other side of the bowl all confused looking!

I'm sorry you've had a really bad cold but I'm glad you're feeling better now. It must be hard to remember about Sherbets accident, it was one of those awful things that you could never have predicted though. I do understand why you don't let Pumpkin free roam. I'm glad you have a cage clean planned for the day and Pumpkin there to keep you company

It's really good news too about your Grandma, fingers crossed she keeps going from strength to strength.

I'm glad that you are getting better of your cold and that your grandma is improving too. Step by step I hope she completely recovers! First the doctors told us that my grandpa was going to die, and If not, that he would probably have severe brain damage, it took him one week to wake up from the coma and three weeks to be able to do regular things by himself, but after two months he is completely recovered. It looks like a miracle. I hope you have the same luck that I had. Everything is possible while they're keep fighting.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that photo. You couldn't have took a better photo if you did it on purpose!! it's soooo sweet, soooooo cute, sooooooo perfect. I think that kind of photos would be perfect for a memorial. It makes me feel a lot just watching it.

I'm glad with my ikea red light, and it was a bargain. It only cost 15 euros

That paw print photo is so funny. Must be almost unique! Sorry you have been so unwell with a bad cold. It sounds as though Pumpkin really missed you and the cuddles routine. Glad your Grandma is getting better and stronger too.

Aww that masterpiece is fantastic!
Pumpkin's little paw prints made me smile and giggle, love it!
Sorry to hear you've had the cold, hope you're feeling better very soon.
Great that your Grandma is getting better & stronger.
I remember Sherbet's accident and what you both went through, it's hard when anniversaries come round because they bring back so many memories.

Those pawprints are so sweet! It would be so cute if we could get a permanent paw print to keep - like parents sometimes get their kids to do hand or foorprints in paint. I can’t think of anything that would be safe to use though!
