Wow, Pumpkin's winter wonderland cage theme is TRULY amazing and so very festive and whimsical! I believe that this one (along with all of the decor on top) has got to be my absolute favorite one yet! I am so in love with it. Eros is cuddling with me, and she wishes she could move right in! Chuckle CHUCKLE - I would love to move in, too; that is if I could only have the power of shrinking to such a miniature size as DC's Ant-Man, lol. Hee-HEE! All jokes aside, Pumpkin sure is one very, very, very LUCKY ham to have such a loving Mum making all these DIY items and decorating her special place so festively and creatively. I am so sure that Pumpkin is going to be ecstatic to rummage through and play with all that you have created for her when she decides to rest from all that running on her gorgeous, brand new Silent Runner. The color-coordinated newest wheel is the totally perfect gift and so worth the wait! Great pics as always of your stunning Pumpkin and her jaw-dropping cage setup, etc.

Psst, Pumpkin; it's me Eros! I can't be on here long 'cause Mum will be back in a flash but I just wanted to let you know that I scurried to Mum's computer screen and tried to hop right into you new cage layout, but I just couldn't do it since the force field barrier was up. Yippee for you that you have the greatest ham palace ever. I can't wait to come over soon to help with the top secret mealworm rescue mission. I'm sure that you would agree that your Mum can move your secret den along with all of your yummy stash so long as she is sure to keep these eye-popping, oh-so-fun palace themes coming. I especially love your cardboard Christmas tree with the nice hole in it; it looks very pretty, fun, and yummy, too! I love the sock (aka stocking) with the huge "P" and jinglies hanging down. I'm sure Santa Paws will have it overflowing with tons of stuff because you are such an amazing hampal. Btw, now back to talking about our next mission again. Sorry for the interruption on topics - my brain is as quick as my running speed at times so I switch back and forth from topic to topic to keep things amusing for me and my hampals, Hee-HEEE! My Mum cleaned my cage this weekend; maybe our two-legged Mums are in cahoots with one another just like us (which wouldn't be a bad thing if my cage layouts begin to look as marvelous as yours). I look forward to having you over, too! We will certainly have tons of fun being ooooh so sneaky (just like Mr. Grinchy) rescuing all our long lost mealies and eating quite a few along the way. I'll be awaiting your message on the hamnet.

Just been catching up and you've done it again SKB, got me speechless, totally in awe at Pumpkin's December cage winter wonderland and do love the sledge.
So many amazing and gorgeous pics and Pumpkin's expressions had me laughing so much, I now have the hiccups.

That Christmas theme cage is amazing! You should probably teach lessons on how to decorate hamster cages. Or you could work as a hamster interior designer, it could make you a millionaire, especially if you start decorating cages of other animals as well)))) Pumpkin looks very content in this set up, I’m sure she’s totally in Christmas mood now)))

Burakki, I'm not sure if you are aware of this but SKB has posted a few lessons on cage decorating while you were away. She was so sweet to walk us through her step by step process. It was so helpful and inspiring, but I still don't think I could ever create anything even close to her level of expertise and creativity if I tried because she is the definite pro at all cage themes and DIY projects. Sorry, Eros; your Mum tries.

Thank you cypher, CMB, astrid, BorisPasha, dreamtree1234, Thin Lizzy and Burraki. I had so much fun setting up this cage and it has been making Pumpkin and myself feel very festive! My bedroom also looked festive after finishing setting up her cage with piece of fitch scattered all over my carpet.Pumpkin has been looking very happy exploring all her Christmas chews and toys - and I'm sure she eagerly awaiting her visit from Santa Paws hoping he will fill her stocking up! As well as having a lot of fun in her new festive layout Pumpkin has also been loving her new silent runner too! - It been really lovely watching Pumpkin having so much enjoyment running in it too - it does match Pumpkin perfectly and I'm sure she will have fun camouflaging in it too! However Pumpkin has also been enjoying chewing on her new wheel too luckily it the pieces of plastic which support the part where the bolt goes through the back panel - she does like to use her teeth to investigate new toys!

Hello Eros, Pumpkin here! I’m sorry to hear the force field barrier was up and you couldn’t come and visit me in my Christmassy cage – don’t worry you can have lots of fun in my palace when you help me on my mission. I’m sure you cage layout are also a lot of fun too – as you always look like you are having tons of fun in every one of your photos. I do think our humans are secretly communicating with one another and they think they are being sneaky but they just imagine their faces when they realise all the mealworm have disappeared into our adorable pouches! I hope my stocking will be full of presents from Santa Paws – I’m sure you will receive loads of presents to from Santa Paws too from you letter to him and you are always such a good well-behaved hamster just like me! Got to go now, but talk soon!

Pumpkin's Mischievous Moments!

Pumpkin has still be extra hyper these last few days too which has resulted in lots of mischievous moments from my troublemaker! I'm sure Pumpkin thinks Santa Paws gives more presents to good hamster who are naughty too!

After Pumpkin was returned to her festive palace after her cuddle time on Monday evening - I had left my bedroom for a little while until I could hear Pumpkin chewing on something in her cage - I couldn't figure out what she was chewing on from the sound alone so I went to investigate. I found Pumpkin chewing the paper off her candy cane striped cardboard tube.

As well as this Pumpkin decided to make a lot of noise on Wednesday morning waking me up - she was chewing on her silent runner as well as banging her chews against the edge of her cage while attempting to climb up some. Talk about getting up to a lot of mischief that she wouldn't let me get to sleep for another hour after first waking me up when she finally decided to have a nap herself - no wonder she need a sleep after all of her hyper craziness! Fortunately the following days Pumpkin has not woken me up early in the morning and let me get a good nights sleep.

Christmas HOM Photoshoot - Outtakes

Today, I thought I would share the outtakes from Pumpkin's Christmas HOM photoshoot. Pumpkin had her very own idea as what would make the perfect photo - but eventually she sat still long enough to get the photo I had envisioned. Obviously Pumpkin is being mischevious as well as good to make sure Santa Paws doesn't forget about her, as if he would lol. I'm glad to see she's enjoying chewing up her striped tube! Perhaps she wishes it was orange and white to match her for more camouflage opportunities

I loved Pumpkin's picture for the HoM and the outtakes are so funny. Pumpkin always has to have a good explore at it all. I think the second one with her sitting in the box is my favourite
