Two more days until we discover what Pumpkin's early Christmas present is - so looking forward to Monday for the big reveal!

Thank you dreamtree1234, cypher, BorisPasha and CMB. Pumpkin did enjoy posing with her sledge - although she did have to be bribed slightly with some tasty treats before disappearing off behind the backdrop like usual!
Pumpkin has frequently visiting her secret den recently, all of a sudden she disappear and then reappears - I wonder if she planning a secret rescue mission for the lost dried mealworms which are currently trapped in their pot - she might need to enlist the help of Eros007 to help! I managed to get this photo of her reappearing from her secret den ...

I am so eager to share with you what her early Christmas present is - I bought it at the beginning of November and I have found it so difficult not sharing what it is - so I'm relieved that it almost time to share!

Another Extra Hyper Day

Pumpkin has been really, really hyper over the last few days - she been waking up early during the late afternoon/early evening - running around her cage, sprinting in her wheels as well as demanding lots, and lots and lots of cuddles! This has been quite unusual for Pumpkin as if I normally see Pumpkin out before 8:30pm she ignores me, and quickly goes about her business before returning to her bed! Also every morning I'm awakening to a messy cage from a very busy night - including filling her litter tray up with a big pile of fitch!

Today, I was busy doing some tidying up near her cage when I was soon greeted by Pumpkin's adorable tummy as she was begging for cuddles! Obviously how could I refuse!!! So we had lots of cuddles and everytime that I returned Pumpkin to her cage she sat meerkating with the most adorable irresistible expression on her face and then her adorable tummy - which led to cuddle, after cuddle, after cuddle!

As well as enjoying having a afternoon sprint in her wheel - Pumpkin has also found it is also a lot of fun pushing the wheel around from the outside to ...

After she finished having fun with her wooden wheel she sat with her paws on her cork log looking so adorable before - you guessed it! - started begging for more cuddles! I even ended up cuddling her whilst reading threads on the forum obviously she wanted to read what her hammy friends have been up to!

During one of her many cuddles I took her to a trip to the fridge to see what yummy veg she could have for today - as it December Pumpkin and myself have been enjoying some Brussels sprout. She love them I gave her a few leaves - she held one in her mouth as I carried her back to her cage and the others I left on her cork log for her to collect after she finished eating her one. But I also managed to get some cute photos of her running of with another ...

dreamtree1234, I'm pleased you like my new signature it took a little longer than expected to make - as I couldn't work out how to use the software to make my last one so found another online software which was easier and I managed to make a signature I was happy with. I didn't initially plan on making a Christmas signature but when I was playing around with the software I found Christmas stickers which I could include - so couldn't resist adding a snowman, some snow as well as a wreath around Pumpkin!

Hahaha! No worries, Pumpkin; Eros007 is more than happy to help her dear hampal rescue any trapped mealworms! I'm sure the two of them will have tons of fun and adventures while they are at it, too. I love the cute pic of Pumpkin peeking out of her secret den. I think it is so hilarious that our hams actually believe that they are convincing us that they are not up to anything mischievous, lol. It sounds like our hamgirls have been extra hyper since it is getting closer to Christmas now. Pumpkin is a true sweetie begging for extra cuddles and coming out more frequently for playtime, too. I love her pics begging for cuddles - that sight is so very familiar to me, too. Luckily for you, Pumpkin is spinning the wheel from the outside instead of actually sprinting on the outside of it from the top like Eros does. I truly am beginning to believe that hams think Santa Paws gives extra treats to hams that keep their hamparents on their toes, lol! I'm glad that Pumpkin enjoyed her Brussels sprout leaves. She looks so adorable carrying them around.

I do absolutely love your new sig. I wasn't even aware that you created it yourself. Great job! I love the snowman but didn't notice the wreath or snow until you mentioned it. I love those extra festive details so much, too. I suppose my tired eyes are playing tricks on me; I suppose I need to try my best to get to bed a little earlier this evening, lol.

Thank You dreamtree1234, cypher, BorisPasha, Coco61 and astrid. We have been having a wonderful time together recently due to her being extra hyper and I have been loving all the cuddles. As she been out more I was able to get lots of adorable photo of her too!

dreamtree1234, Psst Eros its me Pumpkin! I'm so pleased that you are up for helping me on my top secret mealworm rescue mission. My mum has delayed my plans as she had to move my secret den when she cleaned my cage - but I'm sure I will be able to find it soon! I will let you know over the hamnet when operations are go! I will also be more than happy to aid you on rescuing your mealworms too!

BorisPasha, it does look like she giving her wheel a MOT - making sure it spin freely enough - its like she knows my car is due for a MOT this month.

Pumpkin's Palace Cage Layout - December 2017 - Christmas Themed

Today Pumpkin's cage has been cleaned and has been decorated for Christmas! I really enjoyed setting up her cage and I'm very happy with how festive it looks. Pumpkin has her new Christmas chews from this years p@h Christmas range along with a couple of DIY's to.

Now I can finally reveal what Pumpkin early Christmas present is ... a 12" Silent Runner. It has been a wheel I have wanted for so long as has been top of my hamster wish list - I have decided against purchasing it for a while due to the price but now Pumpkin finally has one. With her new silent runner wheel - Pumpkin now has 4 wheels! Pumpkin is already loving her silent runner - and spent most of the time which she would usually spend exploring her new layout running in her new wheel!

And also a collage of the decorations on top of Pumpkin's Palace as well as my Christmas DIY's - a corrugated cardboard tree inspired by one I had for Toffee, a trio of wreaths inspired by p@h's and Pumpkin's Christmas Knuff shelf (its the same as the one I used last year however this year I have added a fence around the top). I also personalised Pumpkin's stocking which I had bought from p@h using some Christmas fabric which I hand sewed on - I also added a couple of bells so Pumpkin knows when Santa Paws has been!
