Thank You cypher, Ruth Edwards, BorisPasha and Coco61. Recently I have been wondering what top secret thing Pumpkin was keeping hidden beneath her autumnal knuff shelf as this week she has spent quite a lot of her time in the evening beneath the shelf as well as hiding her entrance tunnel with a huge pile of fitch. Well this afternoon I finally discovered what she been trying to hide - this afternoon Pumpkin was awake and was really hyper and energetic - so we did a Christmas themed photoshoot and once I returned her to her cage she disappeared beneath the shelf. I could hear her chewing on something then heard the pitter patter of her feet inside the cardboard box which I use as wheel stands - that when I realised it must be her top secret den! When I asked her about it she covered the entrance up and pretended like she didn't know what I asked her!

Pumpkin has been continuing to chew up her willow sticks - she loves them they are one of the only chews that she will actually chew up with so much determination. This evening when I went to get her out she was busy chewing her willow sticks up - she smelt so lovely of willow when she came out for cuddles.

Pumpkin Christmas/Wintery Photoshoot - Sledding

On Tuesday, I visited Lidl as they had their Christmas decorations in store and they do often have lovely decorations at reasonable prices. When looking at all the decorations I saw a really cute sledge decoration and when I saw it I thought I would make a wonderful wintery prop for a photoshoot. So here are the photos I managed to take of Pumpkin has fun on her sledge ...

On Monday, I will be turning Pumpkin's palace into a winter wonderland which will be decorated with her Christmas cage decorations to help her get into the Christmas festivities. Pumpkin will also be getting one of her main Christmas presents early when I clean her cage - as I can't wait until Christmas to give it to her - it something I have wanted for ages and I couldn't resist not getting it for any longer. Pumpkin will thoroughly enjoy it! I will reveal what it is on Monday!
We have also been working on some other Christmas/wintery photoshoots which I'm so excited to share with you all leading up to Christmas day!

Aww, Pumpkin is truly a darling ham! Her mischievous, silly ways truly make me grin from ear to ear! I love all of her photos of her playing peek-a-boo, camouflaging, and chewing on her willow sticks. I agree with Ruth; her chewing on her willow sticks upside down with her cute tummy exposed sure made me want to give it a good tickle, too! I also think it is quite humorous that she tried to play innocent while hiding her secret hideout from you when you asked; love it!!! Her Christmas photo shoot with the sledge was totally adorable, too. She looks like she had plenty of fun with it, too. I can't wait to see what you come up with next for her Christmas cage layout and all your Christmas/winter photo shoots. I am also dying to know what your special, early Christmas gift for her is going to be; luckily for Pumpkin and me we only have to wait a few more days until the big reveal on Monday, lol!!!

The little sledge really is cute & just perfect for Pumpkin to do some wonderful christmas posing!

Oh the sled is a great prop SKB, fits Pumpkin perfectly I really need to get myself to Lidl and see what I can find

Sparky loves chewing wood too, willow sticks, hazel sticks you name it and he's shredding it. I'm sure he has secret aspirations to be a beaver

I'm so intrigued about Pumpkin's Christmas gift, I'm wondering what it can be. I'll look forward to finding out and seeing her Christmas themed cage
