Re: All About My Pumpkin
Oh Pumpkin lol, well I guess Pumpkin knows what she is doing eating her stick like that. She's a clever girl so there must be a reason for it, us silly hoomans just don't understand lol.
Lovely pics, I like the ones of her with her treat stick all stretched out. I see she is also breaking one of her rules in the last photo by not paying attention to the camera lol.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
These hanging treat bars do bring out the craziness in our hams.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
That first photo is just a hoot-what a ham! Hanging treat time is good but there is something about that last rear view photo that is so expressive!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
I've just logged in and I wanted to pass and say hi!!
I always enjoy reading Pumpkin stories from the shadows, but unfortunatelly I can't see her photos If I don't log in. It's so nice to log in and watch all the pictures together. I'm glad that you have a new sd and you can shoot a lot of new pictures, because you really take very good pictures of Pumpkin. I specially loved the ones that you posted a while ago where she is sleeping and the ones with her stuffed pouches that is on the left, it looks like she is smiling! Definitely you're creating a beautiful album.
I'm glad that she's as cuddly as usual and that everything is ok in Pumpkin's world.
See you soon!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Thank you Drago, Thin Lizzy, cypher, AprilPearl, BorisPasha, Coco61 and Hamsterita.
It was a surprise seeing Pumpkin upside down whilst chewing her willow sticks - obviously the willow sticks are best chewed from the bottom whilst being upside down! Pumpkin hasn't been chewing her willow sticks as often the last few days - although she has created her own brand of willow shavings!
Pumpkin does quite enjoy that treat stick - some evenings I hear her chewing upon it as she bangs against the edge of her cage very noisily!
Whenever Pumpkin eating anything in her sand bath she always sits with her back to me - so I have to listen to her nibbling away on a food/or treat only wondering what she might be eating - obviously she knows that if she sits this way I won't be able to get any cute photos of her eating!
________________
Treat Parcel
The other evening I was going to be late getting Pumpkin out so I thought I would make a treat parcel for her - although Pumpkin isn't food motivated - I thought I would try her one with anyways and it might keep her occupied until I was able to get her out. Last time I gave her one of these she didn't even attempt to get the treats out just relocated it to her sand bath - so I thought she was going to do the same this time.
These photos show where I left it and how I found it - although she left most of the treats still inside!
The next Morning, Pumpkin decided it was time to rescue the remaining treats from the grasp of the evil cardboard tube! Although she wasn't a quick as a few of my past hamsters to rescue the treats at least this time she didn't just ignore it!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
What a little cutie, love the pic of her face plunged into the toilet tube! I wonder what treats she found within the tube

Re: All About My Pumpkin
She looks so gentle in those photos. As though she's taking her time nibbling at the toilet tube! I love how her fur catches the light.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Love those photos SKB, Pumpkin really looks as though she's thoroughly enjoying her treat toy & rescuing the treats from the evil cardboard lol! It's nice that she takes her time about it, she does look quite thoughtful & delicate in the photos!

Re: All About My Pumpkin
She looks like she's got the hang of how to rescue those treats. Well done Pumpkin.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
So lovely and so gentle with the tube, Pumpkin's little face in the tube made me smile, I hope she enjoyed her treats.
