Nice to see Pumpkin enjoying her sprouted sunflower seeds, I'm pleased her new magic trick worked and they disappeared so quickly ;P

I like the pic on the bottom left, it looks like she may end up upside down in her determination lol.

It's annoying when it says something is in stock only to go and find it isn't. Glad you managed to find some though. Pumpkins new playpen sounds like it will be a lot of fun for her. I'll be interested to see how you set it up for her if you plan on doing any photoshoots of her in it

Pumpkin is really tucking into those sprouts! She looks quite big on the photos! How much does she weigh now? Her coat is gorgeous.

Thank you AprilPearl, BorisPasha, cypher, Thin Lizzy and Serendipity7000. Pumpkin absolutely loved the sunflower seed sprouts so I will definitely will be growing her some more in the future. Pumpkin did get stuck into them - she was pushing and rolling the pot around trying to find more after they all had disappeared!

My LED lights came on Saturday so I've been able to watch Pumpkin the last couple of nights getting up to her usual night time mischief, it been really lovely to watching her again in the evening.


AprilPearl, The sprouts took about 1 week to grow to this size, although they can be fed after the first shoot emerges from the shell or can be left until they are green sprouts. But the time taken to grown will also depend upon factors such as temperature and sunlight.
All my Syrians really enjoyed having sunflower seed sprouts so you could try some with Mushu and see whether he approves. If you are interested in trying to grow Mushu some sprout this thread is really useful Sprouts three ways!.

Serendipity7000, thank you for reminding me to weigh Pumpkin, I have been meaning to do another weigh in recently but kept forgetting. I weighed Pumpkin last night and her weight has remained the same as last time I weighed her at 188g (she approx 9/10 months old)

Thank you, I been trying to think of what to use as a prop for this month's HOM theme - last night this idea suddenly came to me. Her hammy sized broom/mop is handmade from an apple stick and sisal string. I was hoping she would grab the wooden stick with her paws luckily I managed to get the photo.

Does the quality of the photo look okay on your device?
As on my tablet and phone the quality is good but on my computer the picture quality isn't as good and look a little dull.


Pumpkin's Playbin - IKEA SAMLA 130l

This is the layout of Pumpkin playbin which she uses as her play area during her cuddle times when she not getting cuddles or exploring the sofa. The layout is fairly similar to that of her cage - she has a hideaway, a knuff shelf with sandbath beneath, a food and water bowl, grass house and a few tunnels. The only thing currently missing from her playbin is a wheel - although I ordered a 28cm Trixie wooden cork lined wheel yesterday, which hopefully will come later this week and will be added to her playbin after I have painted it with clear plastikote.

I managed to get these photos this afternoon - Pumpkin was still awake after her HOM photoshoot so she is exploring and posing for the camera.

I also loved her HOM entry! How did you get her to stand like that with her broom? Mushu doesn't tend to stand like that for very long.

Lovely playbin! Lucky Pumpkin looks as though she has lots to be getting on with in there.
