It was good that I had my camera to hand I was initially trying to get a nice photo of her enjoying the piece of carrot but she obviously knew how to make my photos better. Cypher, I know I'm always amazed seeing what my girls have manage to squeeze into their pouches in the past - Pumpkin carrot dissapearing trick did really amaze me as I thought she would give up but she proved me wrong yet again. Coco61 it's so funny seeing them trying to keep all there nice tasty treats safe from being taken away by us.

Pumpkin DIY Cage Layout - December 2016 - Christmas Themed

Pumpkin now has a decorated festive cage full with lots of Christmas themed items most of which are from pets at home (couple items are from p@h last year which I got in the sales after Christmas as replacement for Sherbet's but I never needed to use), although a few are from other pet shops or are DIYs. Her substrate this month is just Fitch - which is nice a deep for her if she decides she wants to dig. Her water bowl is on her DIY knuff shelf. Most of the toys in her cage are the same as what was in last months cage - as I need to buy some more toys from Zooplus soon - although she has a few different tunnel, tissue box and a different grass house.
My DIYs items for this cage include the garland, the IKEA knuff shelf - which the side have been painted red and the top is white and also I made the white paint run down the sides to resemble snow this is covering her sand bath- a wood/cardboard chew, cardboard candy canes (initially for a garland) and a green and red polka dot painted cardboard tunnel.
Pumpkin seems to really enjoy her cage and was completely chilled about me cleaning and adjusting her cage. She definitely seems to approve of her new layout and I'm glad I manage to fit both her wheel into this layout as she does really enjoy having both wheels.

Pumpkin also has some more present still to come from Santa Paws but she will have to wait til Christmas.

OMG it's super festive. I really like it. After seeing all this christmas decorations I have to got to the store and buy a christmas garland to put outside my tank hahaha. I wish I could add some things like yours, but there's anything like that around here. Anyway you did a really good job arranging all those things together

Thank You cypher, BorisPasha, Scarlett Empress, Hamsterita and Thin Lizzy. Pumpkin is really enjoying her Christmas cage she having so much fun with all her Christmas items and I've seen her chew on a few to. She is continuing to have so much fun running in both wheels. The cage took me longer than expected to do and didn't go exactly to plan but it turned out better than I expected - Pumpkin was happy to sleep in her carrier when I was cleaning her cage.

Pumpkin did look so pleased after she manage to pouch the carrot and it also looked like she was looking for some more carrot afterwards to.
