Pumpkin is such a lucky girl to have both those wheels, she obviously enjoys them & it's great she's so well occupied now she's given up on the bar chewing, she really does sound a real joy bless her

Lovely little memorial to all your hams SKB, the memories can bring such mixed feelings, so many happy times but sadness too, all your hamily have had wonderful lives with you & I'm sure Honey, Caramel, Cotton, Cookie, Toffee and Sherbet are all looking down from the bridge happy to see Pumpkin with you now & the bond that you have with her.

Pumpkin is such a sweet girl if I offer her a treat she not interested instead she want to climb in my hand and have cuddles. Our bond has grown so much - I said to her the other day "remember when you were scared to be handled and look at you now always wanting to be in my hand!"
Pumpkin enjoyed some special treats on Tuesday - some sweet corn and porridge (although somehow I made it really thick, but she still ate it). Also as it December I decided to give her one of her Christmas treats today- P@h dandelion leaf treats (same as the Easter eggs which Sherbet went crazy for) - these were a big hit!. She really enjoyed having a nibble on it and has left the rest on top of the roof of her house along with some of her other treats she has well hidden there in plain sight

So adorable! I thought of Pumpkin today as I gave Harvey some C&G Pumpkin Chicken for his breakfast and that is his favourite chicken & veg babyfood.

Haven't got many Pumpkin updates recently she just been her usual self - funny, cute and cuddly. Pumpkin comes out every evening for cuddles on the sofa which she does enjoy exploring and some night she gets some fresh veg - tonight she got some broccoli for the first time - she sat an ate the whole piece so I think she approves.


DIY Natural Christmas Garland

Today I made a Christmas garland for Pumpkin's cage out of wooden disc and Willow balls (from an old Garland which Pumpkin chewed the hooks of), some burgess gnaw sticks and sisal string. Initially I thought I had made it too long so tried it out in her cage to see if it needed any adapting. I was going to remove it as I planned to put it in her cage next week when I do her Christmas layout but decided to leave it in her cage instead.

I have also been working on some other Christmas DIY's which she will be getting next week.

The Disappearing Carrot

Pumpkin tried her paws at a bit of magic of Sunday, when she got a big piece of carrot as a Sunday treat and if by magic she managed to make it disappear before my very eyes - into her pouch . I honestly don't know how she manage to squeeze into her pouch but somehow she did! She would normally sit and eat her treat out of her treat bowl and leave the leftovers in the bowl.
