Question Hoarding??

Recently got a hamster from the pet shop where she had been for 9 months.

She keeps hoarding everything and taking it to a corner. This corner is filled with her food, poo, chews and treats.

Why does she do this?? Can i stop it? Is it bad?

Thank you x

It is perfectly normal for a hamster to hoard food! They will put it in their pouches (cheeks) to take to a special place to eat it later

In the pet shop she probably didn't have many hidey places and she stacked everything together. Perfectly normal to hoard and now the winter is creeping in, she'll store more. Make sure she has plenty hidey places so she feels safe. Hams like cover.
