I have come across several defective 4 oz plastic bottles from various pet stores. Sometimes the water spills into the bedding, drenching the bedding. Or doesn't let any water come out. When I returned 2 of them they refunded me. Sometimes I had to throw them out. Very frustrsting!
Any bottle can stop working from time to time, none of them are perfect really but even with the good ones you have to check regularly & it's important to keep a spare (or two!) on hand just in case.

I had a problem with a couple of the plastic bottles from P@H a wee while ago and when I spoke to the guy he told me to bring them back and I did. I always keep a couple of spare bottles and I check it twice a day.
