I would just very gently lift it up & put it back down on top of the substrate emma, she obviously wants to dig under it so if need be put her food & water somewhere else, you could just attach a water bottle to the bars & put a bowl of food on top of the substrate somewhere then you won't need to worry about her burying everything!

but also in the corner she removed most substrate hahah xD but yearh... thinking about moving it tho

No clue how she transported the sand! What is your cage? Hamsters are cute little fluff balls that makes us wander about everything

Re: Say hi to Isabeau!
That is one busy hamster. You could also scatter feed. Then she wouldn't have a food bowl to dig under.

Re: Say hi to Isabeau!
You can literally scatter food around on the substrate emma & let her dig around for it or you can find things to hide it in like cardboard tubes or boxes or in her sputnik.
If she's been used to a bowl it's best to keep giving some of her food in the bowl until she gets used to the change though.

Re: Say hi to Isabeau!
It's not easy if you do just scatter the food on the substrate as some may just fall through to the bottom of the cage, with new hams I always give some in a bowl & begin by hiding the food in places where I can check to see how much they've eaten, personally I don't recommend scatter feeding straight away with a new ham.
If you can find some fun things to hide some of her food in though that would be fine.
