Do you think Marty has a satin coat?

I've been wondering about Marty's coat, she has a very shiny bum! Well, all her back seems quite shiny really - it just seems to show more on her bottom on my photos.

In the pics I have that show it best, se is trying to chew her way out of her playpen - sigh!

The pics make her bottom look very light, when she's pretty much the same colour all down her back.

I love Marty's colouration, not sure about it being Satin though I know nowt about Hamster colours and coats etc

She does look Satin Golden on my monitor. Very pretty girl.

Yes she is a Satin coat. Is her tummy lighter in colour? I can't really see her tummy and side well but she could be Umbrous Golden Satin.

Piebald thank you! I thought she just had a nice glossy coat to start and then I started to see it was quite different to Smokey's.

souffle thank you, well she's quite grey really underneath and down her sides, I think this picture shows her colour quite well - even though the pic looks a little dark, she is pretty much that colour underneath -
