Just had a read through of the thread - what a gorgeous little guy! He seems like he's super sweet too, I'm glad he took to the taming :P

Awwww pluto reminds me to one of my first hamsters. She was also black and white and she was very very very skittish, but she was very sweet.

Question Re: Pluto's Thread

Thank you for the lovely comments, Pluto is doing well.....however he has gone very quiet over the last couple of weeks, not wanting to come out, staying in his nest till very late and we really do have to persuade him to come out.

When we do get him out, he's fine physically and eating, drinking, pooping, weeing fine....think he may just be a bit lazy now. He's around 10 months old now but as a rescue always been a bit on the timid side.

Giving him a very comfortable life and trying to get him out when he wants ....anyone else experienced this? Any tips to get him out more without forcing it? He's in the Alexander Cage with plenty to keep him occupied, plus play pen and free roam time when he does want to come out.

Could it be the weather, it has been colder? Harvey's also 10 months and he does like to stay longer in his house, he's also hoarded more since the start of the year.

Smile Re: Pluto's Thread

It's been a while since I updated Pluto's thread, and over the past few weeks he has been quite social which is lovely to see. It's great having him come out and definitely a lot less skittish. Weighed him, and a not so little 197g...he's coming up to 1 next month too. Where has the time gone! Even managed a pic today....

Ooh he's so gorgeous Glad he's gaining in confidence. Charlie was very timid but got more confident after he turned 1.

Awww! what a lovely photo, really nice to see Pluto again Bec, glad to hear he's getting more social now too.
I can hardly believe he's almost a year, the time has flown!

Pluto's turning into a very handsome boy, his cute face always makes my heart flutter.
197g is a great weight, Harvey's 198g. Both our boys are turning one next month.
Great news Bec that he's more sociable.
