Love the photo Bec, he's just so cute sitting there eating his corn & tiny chops made me laugh too

He's had a lot to adjust to the last few days but sounds as though he's coming on really well already, take it at his pace & I'm sure he'll get tamer & more confident by the day.

Thank you all again, we are taking things slow and hoping to get him in the playpen tonight so we can start handling him. He is just so timid in one way but once he comes near you he allows you to stroke him without jumping, it's just sudden noises or movements and he hides.

He is very gentle and not once attempted to nip us, which is a good sign.

He also loves porridge! His sandbath and his wheel.

He is pooping...tiny poops! But not sure where he is weeing yet....don't want to disrupt his cage too much just been spot cleaning in the mornings. He's eating and drinking fine!

To think we've not had him a week yet, I think he's doing fine.....little steps but the reward will be fantastic when he builds his confidence and trust in us.

Maybe some pics tonight x

Aww he's being so spoilt already with his porridge!
Hard to believe it's still less than a week, he's doing really well for such a short time, those little steps are so rewarding, I'm sure he'll soon be out & about enjoying the playpen too!

Looking forward to photos

Thank you cypher and piebald.....I actually think the nickname tiny Chops suits him!

Every time we gain some trust it is rewarding, with him being a rescue too I knew it would be a bit of different experience to start with. He is such a sweetheart though, a gentle ham who just needs to trust our love and care.

Next step is weighing him! May try that tonight.....x

He's so cute & looks like he'll be a nice little pet Glad he seems to be enjoying himself already. Looks like he has a lot of fun things to do in his cage.
