Master Harvey The Music Ham Update.
Thank You AprilPearl, SKB, Coco & dreamtree.

Master Harvey's so happy Mocho will be bringing his percussion talent to the Ham-Orchestra, also Pumpkin and Eros will be playing willow sticks & rocks.
Harvey is also a bit of a hamtarist and is so looking forward to learning more from Zen.
My dazzling boy was so spoilt at the long weekend where he devoured turkey & chicken, a variety of veg and a very juicy bit of cherry. These cherries were so delicious my lips were cherry stained and my fingers too, when I gave a piece to Harvey, he was more interested in my fingers lol!
He's been making lots of noise and a couple of days ago, I left an alfalfa stick treat in his cage, there was no attachment on it to secure it to the cage bars and at first he ignored it and then decided to carry it in his mouth, it's about 6" long and he first tried to get in it into his house and what a noise, I got the giggles, he then decided to take it onto his wheel and it was hitting off it before realising it wasn't to be, he manoeuvred his way to his favourite corner where he half buried it, by this time, I had tears rolling down my face from laughing. He did look mighty pleased with himself.
So much entertainment & talent.
Yesterday was our hottest day in 2 weeks and I really thought I was going to melt, so pleased to get home which was nice and cool and to see Master Harvey chilling in his ceramic flowerpot.

Harvey is very deservedly spoilt! Would like to have seen him trying to find a place to stash his alfalfa stick lol.

Yes Lizzy it was hot yesterday here too but we had quite a decent breeze so at least the hamsters room didn't get too hot which I was grateful for

The orchestra sounds like it's coming along nicely, I have a lovely picture of them all in my head playing their instruments, If I could draw it I would but I'm terrible at drawing lol.

Sounds like you and Master Harvey have had a very entertaining and delicious weekend. I let Boris try a bit cherry but he wasn't that interested in it which is just as well really seeing as he shouldn't really have fruit anyway.

It must have been so funny watching him carrying his treat stick around lol, it's amazing what they can manage to carry around their cages, they really are so clever

LOL, Master Harvey carrying around his 6" alfalfa treat stick. I can just picture it now; how utterly hilarious the cutey-pie is!!!! I just love, love, LOVE Harvey and all of his silliness. I especially thought it must be extra funny for him to try to take it along with him on the wheel. I wish that you had an opportunity to video Master Harvey with his treat. That would have truly been a world class act.

It sound like he had yet another scrumptiously gourmet meal. Those cherries sound wonderful. I have to get Eros to sample cherries one day soon. Knowing her, she will probably adore them.

I am sorry to hear that it has been so hot for you and Harvey again. I hope that it will cool off soon. I am glad that Harvey was able chill in his flowerpot. He must have looked so precious doing so.

Wednesday we had a breeze with the sun so it made it better for me when out. When I got home, I noticed that Master Harvey's house entrance was unblocked and I spoke in the direction of it only to realise he was in his sputnik where he did his ham-stand onto my hands for a massage and pumpkin seeds.

It was so amusing watching him carry this long treat about his cage, especially trying to get it into his house as one side hit off it and as he turned the other side hit off it and this happened a few times. I just love his determination to find a suitable place to park his new treat and then turn his back to me and half bury it.
He really is a comediham lol!

Haha I know what you mean. I always find it funny when they carry around huge treats. They have their little heads stuck up in the air and look like a dog carrying a stick that is too big for them!

Thin Lizzy, Master Harvey sure is a comediham, indeed!!! Who knows, maybe next time he might take after my Eros and decide to toss it to you, too! LOL!!!!

I'm so glad that you had a nice breeze yesterday to help relieve you both from the heat. Thank goodness for nature's pleasures.

Master Harvey has made a plea for more music-hams for Ham-Orchestra, this morning there was a lot of noise coming from deep within his house, so much digging, a pause, a louder noise then continuation.
He did peek his face out for a while then blocked me out with a lot of carefresh & pooh.
