Sunday Roast with Harvey,

Don't know about you guys but, I always take a few days to adjust to the clock changing but, not Harvey who was sitting at his cage door waiting for his breakfast and when he saw me he clung onto the door and into my hands and looked at me with those innocent eyes lol! Because it's Roast Chicken Sunday, he got a special breakfast of blueberry and spreadable cheddar. I put the blueberry in the cheese and I held it out to him and he licked the cheese off the blueberry and looked at me and then stuffed it in his cheek and of he went to his house.
I done the dinner a bit earlier cause I was feeling hungry, I had planned on roasting some veg but, I had baby sweetcorn, mangetout & broccoli to use up and I asked Master Harvey if that was ok and he poked his nose out and sniffed the air. Another yummy meal and thoroughly enjoyed by Harvey as later on we had lots of cuddles and I got some whisker kisses which made me giggle.
Later on in the evening, he ran about in the hall and had fun on Twinkle's flying saucer.

Love hearing about Harvey and his roast dinners and whisker kisses I know what you mean about the clocks changing, didn't seem to phase Pasha either and he was there as usual having a drink and waiting for a few seeds

Hahaha I love how Master Harvey licked the cheese off first! What a Sunday lunch for the little man, sounds as though he truly has you wrapped around his paws. I love that he picks what he wants by sniffing the air. Adorable. xxx

Master Harvey sure loves his treats and it's important that I make sure Harvey's pleased with my veggie selection, he so loves being included and it makes him feel important and special which he so is.
Mrs Livingston, you should see & hear his reaction whenever I'm cooking garlic, he goes crazy and I have to tell him each time that he can't have any as it's not suitable for hams and his little face makes me feel bad cause he can't have it. But, I always make sure he gets to sniff my hands lol! He does get a selection of steamed veg too.

Harvey had his 4 weekly cage clean on Monday and I always say to him the night before that mom will be cleaning his cage, he likes to know in advance lol! He especially likes it when I put his polkadot tin in his cage and he runs into it and I then transfer him into his carrier where I leave some treats and a piece of melon. He had a good sniff at his Hamzda Car before stuffing substrate into his tin and settling. But, I still put a couple of heavy books on top of the lid so he couldn't attempt another escape.
Thursday night he's getting roast chicken with salad veggies. He gets roast chicken twice a week, Sunday's always special with warm veggies.

Glad to hear his cage clean went well and that Harvey happily climbed into his polka dot tin and settled down in his carrier whilst you cleaned his cage.

I should think Harvey is looking forward to tomorrow! Glad he still likes his Hamzda car but his tin must be the current favourite. Heavy books- wise Mum!
