Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
I'm glad that you're getting better. It's normal after a situation like that being more precautious.
The new treats sound delicious and amazing. I'm sure Harvey was delighted

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
Glad to hear you're getting a bit better Lizzy, falls are nasty things especially in the snow/ice. They don't half knock your confidence as well when it happens. It's good to know that Harvey is looking after you and being understanding about his late breakfasts though I wouldn't expect anything less from your special boy

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
Yo Harvey,
It's me Pip have you made your human better yet? My human has what he calls an injury and has to go see a doctor at a place called a hopital.
So I had a new treat tonight, he called in sushi he did some of that nice ducky stuff but he wrapped it up with a bit of cuckyumber and this jazzymine rice in this green stuff he says is spinnache which is supposed to be good for me and make me big and strong, well it was very very nice , then he gave me some narna which I haven't age for ages.
Anyhoo see you later
Pip

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
Thanks Cypher, Serendipity, SKB, Hamsterita, BorisPasha & Rads/Pip.
I read out your messages to Harvey and he was pleased his caring skills have been mentioned and he loves the praise.
A funny thing happened yesterday, I was coming home in a taxi from the supermarket and the driver decided to turn at the bottom of the Street and he pointed out a tank with stuff in it sitting on the pavement, I asked him to stop so I could check it out in case there was an abandoned animal in it. Fortunately there wasn't, just a load of hamster things that were really dirty. But, I'm glad I checked.
My knee is much better, I took a few trips up and down the stairs to get the shopping in. One step at a time.
Ham-mail from Harvey to Pip,
Dear Pip, my caring duties are over, my human is so much better and she read out the messages and the praise. I've been getting lots of tasty treats. Yours sounds nice, I've not tried duck and neither has my human but, she did mention that she had looked at it in the supermarket. I reckon she'll get it soon.
This morning I got a piece of cheese, a raisin and a walnut for breakfast. I love the weekends as I get a bit extra.

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
I`m late to your good news Lizzy but Harvey is just adorable. I have a soft spot for white rodents! White mice were always my first love. Enjoy your new little person. x

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
So glad to hear that the knee is improving. No skipping up and down the steps for some time please! Tell Harvey that his caring duties are not completely over as he has to carry on until you are 100% again! His treats for his first class performance so far sound delicious for him. Well done Harvey!

Sounds like Harvey had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed his piece of cheese, walnut and a raisin - what a lucky boy.

I'm glad that you're getting better, but I agree with Coco! I would ask Harvey to keep his caring duties till you end your convalescence!

Re: Meet Harvey My Man Ham!
Once again Thank You Everyone!
Coco & Hamsterita, I mentioned to Harvey that his caring duties are still needed when I delivered his Sunday Roast Dinner - Turkey, mashed Butternut Squash, Broccoli & Green Runner Beans. He stuffed some from his dish into his cheeks and came over and gave me some whisker kisses which had some butternut squash on them lol! I told him thank you so very much and of he went into his house to enjoy his roast dinner.
Thank you RH for your lovely message!
Last night I opened the cage door and Harvey darted up the sleeve of my dressing gown and took a liking to my elbow, and I could feel his whiskers on it. He stayed there for about 5 minutes and then this little nose poked out and he had a good sniff & hoover of my duvet for any Pringle crumbs.
