She is certainly not a laid back hamster! She is always out and about during the day, I guess from being in the pet shop.

I feed her in the morning (with all the others) and again at four when she was fed in the shop (just a wince to keep her routine familiar). It is rather nice having around in the day time.

She didnt seem too restless last night after her escape. I give her food hidden in loo rolls with lots of toilet paper packed in to hide it. She grabs the loo roll tube and bites away pushing her head inside and then coming up for air and pulling the tissue out.

I heard the triumphant sound of a monkey nut being crunched open.

Cinnamon bear just imagine Gopal x Kashi/Tanya babies!!! Yes Gopal did escape the other day (I left one of his cage doors open oops) he was sooo easy to catch too. I am blessed.

Glad you got her back safely. She did look as though she was judging how high the box side was in one of the pictures you posted.

Haha yes cmb she was definitely looking for a way out and indeed still is. Sounds like the mesh is having a hard time! Put a chompy wooden carrot onto the mesh where she pushed the lid open yesterday and its getting well mullered.

She has a lot of heavy things on the lid now. I am very relieved that her barney is due tomorrow.

Thank you daffodil and rads. She is very pretty.

The photos came out so well i was delighted. No sign of the barney yet. I ordered it Thursday and had hoped it would be here today.Oh well. I dont think they deliver on Sundays so it will have to be monday now.

She is always up and about!! Just gave her some kale which she sat and ate big awwww moment. She is now on her wheel which she loves.

Glad she is up and about so you can see her cuteness during daylight hours! I've had only one hamster who enjoyed being up during the day! It's great!
