Introducing Alfie!

I've finally managed to get some decent photos of Alfie, so I thought it was time to introduce him!
He's my first ever ham and he's been part of the family for two weeks now
I can see him developing his own little personality, he's definitely a greedy little man!

Ooh he is lovely - I really like his colouring - his dark head and white band He's looking quite tame already.

On photobucket - if you click on a photo to open it there is a row of symbols appears top right if you move your mouse there - it tells you what each one is when you move your mouse over it. Click on 'edit' and a new row of symbols opens at the top (you need to wait a few seconds for it to open or they all move when you go to select one). Then select 'resize'. When the resize option opens you'll have two boxes with numbers in. Change the left hand set of numbers to 700 and the right hand box numbers will change automatically, then click on 'Apply' and then 'Save' and the resized photo will appear. You then click on the bottom link on the right and paste it on here, and the photo will fit the forum page You'll end up with two copies of each photo in your library - the original one and the resized option. You can tell which is which by the description numbers. The original will have the file name from your camera (usually starts with a letter). The resized one will be a string of lower case numbers and letters. When you save there is an option to 'replace original'. I find this doesn't work and tends to crash the program. I either keep both or delete the original if I have it saved on my computer or camera before uploading.

He is a sweetie! And the taming seems to be going well, he's quite happy for me to do his food and water whilst he's awake in his cage and loves climbing me in the bath - he did bite my toe yesterday, but I think he thought it was food!

Thanks for the photobucket tutorial serendipity , I'll have to try it on my laptop because the edit option seems to crash on the iPad! I downloaded the app which has helped, the first photos were huge!! But there's no resize option on there
