Nova's Thread
Well after weeks and weeks thinking about getting another hamster after 3 years nearly without one, it's finally happened this morning! I wasn't planning on bringing Nova home. Last night I was picking up guinea pig pellets and dog treats from Pets at Home. I glanced over at the Syrians and saw Nova... A little ball of blonde fluff. She had just woken up and looked at me with her tired little face and I fell in love. I walked away, as I knew I didn't have the cage I wanted ready yet. But after all night thinking about her I went back this morning. Luckily she was still there and I took her home.
She's around 10-12 weeks old and is just adorable! She's currently in the largest cage I could find in pets at home. Not ideal but it's only temporary until I get paid and can order her an upgrade

Not the best photo but she hasn't sat still for me to get a decent one!

Thank you! She's gorgeous and I'm in love with her already. She's been exploring around the cage and bar climbing and sniffing everything. She doesn't seem bothered about me being in the room with her. She finally settled down.. Not in any of the beds but behind her flying saucer.

She still doesn't really know what to think of me. She's still too shy to take food from me but I'm sure in time she will as it's still very early days.

Oh my goodness! How cute!
Sounds like a very similar story to mine! I went to get rat food-came back with a hamster and cage!
I am in LOVE with her name!
