Well thought I would give Pip a weigh in tonight as she was up when I finished my shift after 15 hours....
So madam Pip weighs in at 224grams which is a lovely healthy weight, and she is so full of beans tonight too

I made some cheese straws at the weekend with some left over pastry, once cooked I though I would try Pip with a piece, well she destroyed them with out pouching...!
I think I will have to send some to the Hampartycue at Blacky's all the hams will love them I bet.

On an unrelated non Pip note, I am likely to be off the air for a wee while as I am scheduled for Shoulder Surgery next Friday week, I have to have a Rotator Cuff repair so can't even work for approx. three months and my typing skills will be left handed only...

Rads, I TOTALLY love your thread about the adventures of Pip. It is so extremely entertaining, and Pip is quite the marvelous and adventurous hammy, indeed!

Good luck with your rotary cuff shoulder surgery! Eros and I will definitely be praying for your speedy and complete recovery. Take care and best wishes to you as always!

This is Pip I am going to be in charge of the lappytop thingy very soon I will have control I won't have to do my super cute face, my Meerkat or even pretend I am listening to him ramble on (cue Bond Villain chuckle).
My Human Pet has informed me that he going to visit the human vet for a hoppyration, this is not fair, who is going to make me the nice things he does? I want more of the special cheesie strawry things oh they are so good, (dreams and dribbles just a little thinking of them) you must get your humans to make them for you, tell them I said so! (they will quake with fear these puny humans).
Oh poo I can hear him coming gotta go

Pip will you get off the Laptop you always leave crumbs on the keyboard and paw prints on the screen......

Rads here Pip's human, Pip has been over excited the last few days much cavorting about her cage there has been, she has also been up a lot earlier then usual too....
Tried her with some baby spinach leaves and some lambs lettuce the other night she ate them so quickly I thought she had inhaled them rather than eating them.
I have taken to the sofa in the living room for sleeping as I get more support for the crook shoulder, I have noticed Pip training for a Hamathon in her wheel every night, I am glad the new one is virtually silent.
I wonder if she is more active as it is warmer? But she deffo has had it in her since the weekend it is like when she was a wee baby pup which is great.
Right gotta go get Miss Pip from the bottom of the stairs.

Rads, you should really consider writing a book about your amazing adventures with Pip (and of course, include your lovely photos of Pip as well). I think it would be a true success, and tons of people would get much joy in the reading about the life of a beloved hammy through your eyes. You sure do have a natural talent to make us all feel like we are going along with you, your family, and sweet/silly Pip. I love all the humorous antics and interplay between you all. Thanks again for making all of us smile.

It's me Blacky!
It's good to know that now you're in charge of the laptop thing! I'll ask my mom for the cheesie strawry things, but I'm not a fan of cheese, so I don't know If I'll like it.
You have to have a good behaviour now that your human pet is unwell, give him a lot of cuddles and I'm sure that he will have a quick recovery and he will be able to spoil you again really soon.
