I'm so very sorry to hear this When I logged in and saw your other thread, my heart broke. Pip was such a lovely, pudgy, and charismatic little ham. She touched many hearts, and will never be forgotten. I'm so sorry for your loss, play well at the bridge sweetheart XX

Rads, I have posted on Pip's memorial thread but I wanted to say here how much I loved this thread. Pip was so special, simply gorgeous and your skill as a photographer captured her in so many different ways. The length of this thread with the number of views must underline to you just how much she was loved here on HC. Her resting place sounds lovely. You have a spot to remember Pip and she will never be forgotten here.
Have fun over the bridge Pip with all your friends.

Dear,Thin Lizzy, Coco61,SKB,Serendipity, Cypher, AP, Burakki, Pinkneon, Drago, Jenni,CMB,Bethand Lil, Souffle and any that I have forgotten who have read this thread but not commented.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my old ticker, Pip made me laugh and cry and reading all the beautiful comments that have come from you all I guess that it did the same for you guys too.
My Miss Pip will not be forgotten I have so many Pictures from phone or my DSLR that will keep me smiling for a long time to come.
Pip's Album will stay on my Facebook so any one wishing to see her can go there to see her in all of her glory.
I am also going to make a photobook of her, I have so many photos and videos of her on my phone so they have to be transferred to my hard drive for posterity as I did with Forrest.
I have asked the Moderators to close this thread so that it is read only now.

Pastures new lie ahead with Ghost who from the few hours so far with us is going to be quite a crazy little thing that I will enjoy writing about in her thread " Meet Ghost the Ghost tales"
I heartily think that Pip approves it does feel right after we had a chat at the Jasmine bush, I also hope that Pip finds time from Hammy cavorting where ever she is now to become a Guardian Hamster to Ghost and any other Hammy that needs her wisdom.

Again thank you all for taking the time to read about Pip and her antics to look at her photos and chuckle at her silliness in her videos.
That's all from me at present as I can't see the damn screen as my eyes are damn full of tears.
Bless you all from Pip..xXx

I am teary-eyed reading about your loss of Pip, Rads. I thought that she was recovering so well and was shocked to hear your sad, heartbreaking news. She was a truly amazing hammy all full of silly antics and personality galore. She was a gorgeous beauty with such a loving heart. The two of you shared such a special, loving bond; it was a true delight to go along with you and Pip during this wonderful journey in the life of Pip. Thanks for sharing it with us and letting us get to know your special furry friend. She will be remembered forever by all of us because she touched our lives in such a fond way. Rest in peace, sweet Pip. Rads, hugs to you and Mrs. R.

I think a photobook is a really good idea, Rads. I have made one for every single one of my departed pets and it does help. There's something about being able to physically hold those memories in your hands, rather than just looking at pictures on a screen (or maybe I am just old fashioned!). I usually include a little section where I write down their favourite foods and toys, as well as any special memories, so that I will never forget.
