I saw a quote today that was about dogs but I believe that it applies to Hamsters as well, it went a bit like this

She has plenty of energy seeing as she spends so much time asleep in her nesty house..!
I have been off this week so have been having some late nights, and Pip seems to think I am there for her amusment alone....
Her itinerary normally goes like this, though it is all aproximated
09.30-10.00 Get up wander about a bit ,have a drink, look for nibbles, go stand on roof of house and stare at the treats tin..!
19.15-19.30 Get up have a drink, take proffered fresh food go back to bed.
22.30 approx. Get up have a bath in the sand, look about for morsels if nothing then retire to cave for eats, inspect cage and all items for hidden nibbles may be have a walk in wheel...
23.00 Finally get into ball and wander about the house until ready to sit at the bottom of the stairs preening herself and having multiple poo's.....
