Tonight after Pip had a small piece of white stilton with apricot, and a piece of apple, Pip decided to take her new whole walnut for a walk..!
She got her teeth into the opening and walked about her cage with it as though proudly showing it off, finally she took it into her nest,,,,! I am wondering what else she has got stashed in there, I think it will be cage clean out time very very soon indeed.....

It's me Pip, just wishing every hammy and their pet humans a Merry Hammy Xmas, today I have had Roast Potato, Roast Carrot, Sprout and something called Shortbread they where all so very very nice, I am going to demand these items again in the future....

Hey Harvey,
Pip here, I did like the Xmas dinner as my human had called it, I won't say no to having some more in the future.
My human has promised to buy me a sputnik which as you say many Hams own and enjoy, I shall reserve my judgement until I actually get one of my own.

Oh she scoffed her Christmas dinner what I mean is she nibbled at it and then pouched it for later..

I have gotten her an XL Sputnik in Purple and Pink from POH though where to site it is another matter, it clips to the roof of her cage but unless I build access ramps or steps she won't get into it I fear Hamsters not being known for the kangaroo leaping abilities or being a Spider Ham........

The Sputnik can be put on the floor of the cage the other way up from how it would go on the roof. They can be split in two so could be like a hammock with the large part fixed to the roof and the small part as a floor hide.

They can also be used in a playpen.

So tonight I have had to give Pip's cage a major clean/overhaul as she had made such a mess in it and sneakily buried the offensiveness.
I moved a few things about not by much to try and utilise her space a little better, the sputnik was put in on the floor and filled with bedding which has now moved into the small pod that held her Stash MK2, I think she may move in there just to spite my actions.
I had to dispose of her temp accommodation as she had ruined that with pee as well she is a bit of a growbag when all said and done, but so lovable too you can't scold her especially when she knows you are looking at her and she looks up at you with such a cute yet quizzical expression on her face.....
As CMB suggested I may split the sputnik for her but that does seem to be a waste...
